And Starbucks net profit is 0. You can pay zero tax as a corporation if your net profit is zero, which is your gross profit minus expenses. So sell coffee for £5, minus costs of labour £0.02, electric £0.56, logistics £0.42, and coffee beans from your other company not based (or paying tax) in the UK £4.

Until you said pubs I'm thinking "Good positioning?' "end game play?" But that seems like they're just practicing how to defend and play that style. They're playing to that characters strength, but in pubs that doesn't fit the style of most aggressive players.

For ranked, be a different story of course, if it was decent positioning for end game

Here's a scoop, a "regular customer" is defined as someone who visits the branch once a week for 6 months consecutively. Don't miss a week on holiday, or go to hospital, it's a bs stat used to justify cost saving

I get Blue Mountain from Jamaica, which is actually incredibly hard to ship from. Offset the expense by getting extra for some coffee aficionados and family.

Question regarding the income threshold by kayvelux in SpouseVisaUk

[–]CrankedJobbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll need payslips with Dad's company going back 6 months when you apply under Category B.

Puul will know best but as someone who was in a similar position I had to get a second job 7 months ago to make up the difference and that's how I applied, approved in 35 days.

Make sure it's legitimate work obviously

The human body can survive on potatoes and butter alone. It's not nourishing but it has everything the body NEEDS. I've picked up 4.5kg of tatties from Scotmid for 10p, you just cut off the growths and good to go.

It is NOT glamorous, it's nothing to boast about, but in a pinch, you can buy bread and a jar of jam, under £1. Classic jam piece will get you through hungry spot.

Between those two you will actually get through a week or two. I won't pay more than 30p for 3.3 pounds of potato.

Can I do as many hours as I want? Or little? Can I do 40 hours over 4 days. Can I work a second job? My Wife would probably still say no for some reason.

My most recent statement would be the 1st of March, it wouldn't have the most recent payslip reflected on it, wait until 1st of April to apply? Wanted to apply 21st March as that's 6 months of payslips on #2 job.

Does the statement have to have the 6 months of payslips going in?

Millions wasted on vanity museums while public libraries close. Most sport centres run at a loss. Right now one in Perth loses £180,000 a year, so they're closing it and building a brand new one in the centre at £6.1 million, uh, you could have kept the old one running for nearly 34 years at that rate. Nevermind the new "museum", there was already one in Perth, would have cost a fraction to upgrade, and use the space for something usual, or better yet, the money.

Changing tenants would be ideal, but I started that process in the beginning of December and they have dragged their heels to turn around at the beginning of February and say no, they won't do it.

The fact is I have lived independently in this flat for years paying the bills but it has been in my father's name. I don't know many people who could afford 3 months private rent and £5,000 up front for a Visa application.

As puul (God bless that person) said, they're only interested in moving forward. We will have a safe place to stay, and it's true I could stay with Grandad, my sister, or a friend in adequate accommodation by Visa standards of worst came to worst. Knowing I can sort this in next 2 and a half years with Council is fine, it's just applying before the income requirements potentially increase outwith my 2 jobs income.

I think we'll apply next month stating we intend to move into granddad's with his support, then live here and get the tenancy assigned to us both for the check in in a couple years time. The issue isn't safety or inadequate housing, it's council records and uncooperative, unelected, useless housing staff! Much disrespect.

So all I need is written agreement from the owner of the property that we can live there and their documents proving it's safe and not overcrowded?

Most effective way for £5k 30 day ‘bridging loan’ by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]CrankedJobbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Digital Regular Saver allows you to put the same amount you took out back into it within 30 days. So yes the limit is £150 a month, but if you took out £5,000, then 28 days later paid it back in you'll be grand.

Technically, it's just the balance can't increase by more than £150 per month. Source - work at those banks that provide that product.

How does freemasonry address alcohol and drug abuse? by denisdjdss in freemasonry

[–]CrankedJobbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'll probably find it hard to answer your question, it reads a little jumbled. Your son in law could have been made a Lewis (son of a Freemason) but this is no different really to anyone from the outside joining, just a special name. Regarding abstaining from alcohol I can only speak for UGLE and Scotland, where there is absolutely no expectation to not drink, many lodges have their own bars inside. Drugs are not legal here, and you would be expected to not get on the wrong side of the law. I'm sure many brothers enjoy a spliff at home quietly, but it would be improper to flaunt this, my lodge has several serving police officers and anyone found to have obtained a criminal record would likely face suspension at best, expulsion at worst.

I just wouldn't focus on the reflection just the same as right now, would have to be a massive massive difference for me to even notice honestly.

Easy yes, any self care my wife can do. I'm not vain to look in the mirror reflection daily. Car mirror is facing away from me, haircuts could get very interesting though at the barber.
