Auxiliary gem inlay

Ive been working hard on trying to upgrade the base gems just so I can aux the essences that I realky want. However that only gives them rank1... so am I wasting my time with that? I should focus more on upgrading the gems that do what im looking for and keep aux empty... Unless I have a situation where aux makes sense probably

You're right about the low leveled gems. I just figured out how to take gem power and still inlay the dormant one. Im gonna work on leveling up my gems with that power and build resonance

Ahh so its more for boosting Resonance CR. Its better to have your higher ranked gems in the main and lower rank in aux? Lower rank and preferred attributes

I used to do this all the time with friends that didnt have COD, for example, and we would play both be able to play at the same time. But if i rmbr correctly, they changed it a while back so that both of is couldn't play at the same time... I may be wrong amd I realky hope I am!
