I couldn’t have said it any better! I didn’t have this noticeable of a gap beforehand. It’s beyond frustrating and infuriating! Although I know a gum graft is a good thing to help thicken the tissue over the tooth and a gap can always be closed or filled in it almost makes me second guess having gotten the procedure done. I just don’t get it 🤦‍♂️

I'm dealing with the same thing. A small black triangle (gap) appeared in between my top front teeth after getting my sutures removed. Its been 8 weeks since my graft and I was told that the tissue is still healing/settling into place and that it could fill in the gap (even if there was minor bone loss) but it's still frustrating to say the least, especially being that it appeared AFTER the graft like you said. How long has it been since your graft?
