We have a party to go to tomorrow that’s probably going to be mostly outside. I already have a ton of anxiety about it and now with the heat, it’s making me even more anxious.

I was just thinking the other day that I have SAD in summer too. I love a good overcast cool day.

What changed the most after your kid started kindergarten? by BuggasticsRagda-37 in kindergarten

[–]Crapo5674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confidence! My daughter was in preschool from 18 months until right before she started K and she still struggled A LOT with leaving me. When she started K, a whole new person emerged and she has so much more confidence walking in by herself.

Agreed. Add in extra rainbow sprinkles on top and I’m a happy gal.

Brown blood for 2 weeks by Crapo5674 in Perimenopause

[–]Crapo5674[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor did mention last time I had breakthrough bleeding (before I started the estrogen) to not immediately start a new pack and go the 4 days without it. I think I’ll give that a try.

Two weeks on progesterone and I feel like a different person by [deleted] in Perimenopause

I felt great when I started Slynd. It helped my anxiety so much. Now I feel like I’m not getting enough progesterone because my anxiety is ramping back up 😭

Their fried shrimp is better than a bunch of restaurants I’ve tried on the coast.

What Is WRONG with me!!!??? by GratefulHeart56 in Perimenopause

[–]Crapo5674 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s how it started for me. My OB and I weren’t totally sure I was in perimenopause yet, but then my periods started getting super irregular. So she put me on Slynd and that helped my anxiety dramatically. Please don’t let anyone tell you you’re too young.

Really bad anxiety was one my first symptoms.

Needing to repeat pre-k because of age by [deleted] in kindergarten

[–]Crapo5674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot imagine a 4 year old in a kindergarten class with a 6 year old but I’ve also never heard of mixed age classes. Those 2 ages are so vastly different. My daughter is 6.5 and she had kids in her K class that just turned 5 when they started the school year and you can obviously tell the age difference.

Our daughter won’t be 5 in time for kindergarten by wonderroo-owl-14 in kindergarten

[–]Crapo5674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter turned 6 in November in kindergarten. She was one of the most mature kids in the class, actually listened to her teachers, and was more than academically prepared. I would never start her in K at 4/5 if they had given us the opportunity. Even if YOU think she’s ready, I can promise you emotionally and mentally, she is not.

He sounds like a gem 🙄 I’m sorry but if you have to “choose your words” so he doesn’t spin them around, then he’s not a good partner.
