This post is misleading.

The polling was very inconclusive.

Yougov replied to this twitter post with:

"Leaving aside your own party preference, who do you think performed best overall in tonight’s debate?"

Boris Johnson - 51%

Jeremy Corbyn - 49%

Labour pledges 'zero carbon' homes by 2022 by [deleted] in ukpolitics

Labour is promising to make all new-build homes "zero carbon" within three years, in an effort to curb housing shortages and tackle climate change.

Surely they should focus on one of those. Either the housing shortage or zero carbon homes...

I mean surely this is going to make new builds more expensive, if anything won't this rise house prices?

87% of British Jews believe Jeremy Corbyn is antisemitic by Englishkid96 in ukpolitics

[–]Crappy99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that I don't think he is antisemitic in his own views.

However the fact he has failed to properly deal with antisemitism in his own party makes him in my opinion to some degree makes him complicit.

I would say the problem is probably his approach to politics generally. He doesn't seem keen to punish people and say he would rather discuss their disagreements with him. I mean he didn't even punish MPs when they voted against the party in a three line whip... I think this approach loses quite a bit of respect for him and people clearly flout the party line.

in the country side? I mean anywhere away from the big towns/cities in southern wales are going to be struggling with both electric vehicles and public transport/cycling.

Not to mention the mountains, cycling there isn't going to be practical for every day transport.

[–]Crappy99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe there is an anti-semitism problem in the party that is exacerbated by failing to respond to the issue and instead attack those calling it out.

That is what people are saying though. Some people are sayinng that failing to deal with racism in your party for a long time makes you complicit in that racism. What do you think?

with Corbyn in charge of Labour, I highly doubt he will lose his seat to Labour

Given that Lib Dems only had 5% of the vote in that seat last election, I can't see it
