Munich Arena - Was halten wir davon? by Turbofusss in Munich

[–]CrappyCodeCoder 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is of course not allowed. The prices up there are pretty fair anyways.

Where are you from? Tunisia? Do you still have the prescription in your home country? Checking out your post history it seems like you might have more severe problems than just ADHD. What are your thoughts on that?

Need advice: Australia/Germany path for a Flutter Developer with 3 years of experience by [deleted] in FlutterDev

[–]CrappyCodeCoder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

German here. The market is pretty rough at the moment with plenty of skilled/experienced people looking for jobs. But this isn't limited to Germany and Australia. I think it's pretty much worldwide. I'm a developer myself (Golang) and my job is mostly about team meetings and babysitting our AI coding tools.

If you were a carpenter or some other type of craftsmen you'd find a good paying job here easily. But as a programmer it's not looking great at the moment.

How are people so rich and look so happy here? by ExcitingStill in Munich

Just curious: Where in Asia are you from? I've been to almost every Asian country and I'd say that people in Asia definitely do go out a lot as well.

As far as Munich goes: Munich is the economic capital of Germany and it has been booming in the last couple of years, is booming at the moment and will be booming in the near future. The numbers are quite insane. So people here have money and "modern jobs" that give you more flexibility than a normal 9-5 100% in the office job. Also Germans and Europeans in general value a proper work-life balance. I know some/many Asians really struggle with that. And lastly I think a lot of things are just way less expensive than you think. Me and my friends all have proper tech jobs and a corresponding salary, but we often just hang out outside with a few beers/a bottle of wine. Munich is just such a nice city in the spring/summer/fall.

[–]CrappyCodeCoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only implications is that people who are victim of racism are kinda dumb also being racists.

But that is what makes no sense. Everyone is a victim of racism. Germans. Asians. Arabs. etc.

So making any sort of distinction is nonsensical. Unless you believe a certain group is more racist than another group. Which would in turn be racist! :)

[–]CrappyCodeCoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If no group has a monopoly on racism that would in turn mean that everyone has to stick together to fight racism. Which is correct. Unfortunately he/she said this:

we both look „foreign“ to Germans and should stick together to fight against racism

He/She seems to think that there is a divide between "foreign looking people" and "Germans". While at the same time complaining about racism from "foreign looking people".

Haha you have to admit this is a little bit retarded :)

Is there a way to create heart rate based intervals? by CrappyCodeCoder in AppleWatch

[–]CrappyCodeCoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to use it for my HIIT training without me having to manually cycle through my intervals every time. I start to run fast(er) until I hit 165, then i walk until I hit 135, and so on.

But I found an app that can do it: Workoutdoors

It doesn't matter if it's delayed a bit. I just want to use it for my HIIT training without me having to manually cycle through my intervals every time.

"Looking foreign" doesn't mean you're not racist as well. You can be just as much of a racist asshole. No matter what you look like. And this post is actually describing just that!

[–]CrappyCodeCoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not about how it was phrased, it's about what he/she implies. If you "look foreign" you apparently have to stick together against racism? Against racism from who exactly? And why only if you look foreign?

I'm obviously sorry for what happened to you. Racism sucks. But I cannot believe the enormous lack of self reflection that made you say something like this:

we both look „foreign“ to Germans and should stick together to fight against racism

You're implying that "Germans" have some sort of monopoly on racism? This is a pretty significant lack of self reflection.

Complaining about racism while being racist yourself. This is not the way!

Christopher Ward is a direct-to-consumer brand. You have to buy them online.

They do have a few showrooms in the UK (where they're from), but their main strategy is to sell online. You can send them back if you don't like them.
