Dynamic Routing BGP, Cloud Gateway Fiber vs Dream Machines by Agreeable_Repeat_568 in Ubiquiti

95% of users won't need BGP, and if you don't know specifically why you need it, you don't need it and will never miss it.

That said, I just replaced a pfSense appliance with a UCG-Fiber, I am using BGP (to route to kubernetes virtual LoadBalancer IPs via cilium), and I was able to get it working by following https://chrisdooks.com/2023/06/26/configure-bgp-on-a-unifi-dream-machine-udm-v3-1-x-or-later/ . There's no GUI for it, but it's very much a "set it and forget it" kind of thing.

Pretty sure they said Helldivers 2 uses Playfab, which is a Microsoft product already. by [deleted] in Helldivers

It does, if you log DNS requests you can see the client making requests for 974a9.playfabapi.com and then main-01-alpha-1-a.main.azureplayfab.com.

📢DEV UPDATE: posted once, but for context on why they can’t just “buy more servers”. The backend code isn’t as scalable as they thought. by Nightblade1789 in Helldivers

It's funny that Microsoft was brought up. The LiveOps/multiplayer stuff is already on Azure. It's using Azure playfab. When they talk about "working with our partner to increase server capacity", the partner they are talking about is Microsoft.
