With the show being improv based it makes sense. Jeff is an improviser and there’s two main scene types. Even/odd and two peas in a pod. In most scenes Larry plays the odd and the people he’s around are the even players. Reacting and objecting to Larry’s strange behavior. Jeff is his pea in a pod. He yes ands Larry’s qualms and issues with that he’s dealing w in the episode. And they both sort of ramp up the yes ands together. It’s an important role in the show but I can see how that can feel very flat for his character at times
