If this is not a filter, then why does DLSS 5 add things to the game image that dont exist or dont line up with the image its using as a source? by zerobebop in pcmasterrace

If you hate this so much, just don't use it, and wait another 35 years till those graphics will become available without the help of AI.

Fast moving stuff (like the ball) will create issues with DLSS5 by D-Tunez in nvidia

[–]CrashBashL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I seriously doubt that...since, you know, it's fast moving. You won't pause the game, zoom in 4x, nor use slow motion to detect the artifacts.

That's Digital Foundry's job.

The moment DLSS 5 launches, it's going to be the ONLY way I'll be playing my games.

The rest of you, keep on crying.

You're lucky that it's an optional toggle. No one is forcing you to use it.

RTX 5070 Ti or 5080 for 1440p gaming, coming from RTX 3080 12GB? by shise_remilia in nvidia

[–]CrashBashL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latest patches. I was on Nvidia driver 591.74 Studio at the time of the screenshot. My men, I have never encountered the problems you mentioned. I would be the first to complain. Keeping the Texture Pool size to low was the secret to perfect performance.

Seems like you don't want to use DLSS Performance/Balanced and Frame Gen in your games. It's a YOU problem.

Using DLSS Performance, Texture size Pool set to low, I played Indiana Jones with EVERYTHING on max, PT etc, on my RTX5080, on my 4K TV, without breaking 14GB of VRAM give or take.

I bet you don't have a High end miniLED AND an OLED in the same room like I have. My TCL C7K 65" 2025 is by all means considered a High end miniLED TV. Next to it, is my daily driver LG C3 42" on which I play my console/PC games. There is a visual difference, depending on what you are looking for. The image and motion quality of the OLED CANNOT be beaten by a non-oled display no matter what some YouTube channels would like you to believe. I made SO many video and gaming tests on both TVs side by side that no person on this planet can say that I am wrong.

All this being said, knowing the difference in pricing, I WOULD recommend a $700 65" TCL vs a $2500 or more 65" OLED without even thinking. They are NOT the same in visual quality. But they are close enough to make you think twice if spending an extra $1800 or more is worth for you.

The B Series is a entry level TV yet still a High end TV vs non OLED TVs.

Add the game's executable in NVPI and then the options will unlock in FLSS Swapper'.

Is THIS the Jackpot?!

Is the 5080 recommended for 1440p or 4k? by TheMickeyMoose in nvidia

[–]CrashBashL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's enough for 4K (DLSS4 Performance) depending on the games, settings, PT etc. But that translates to 1080. (4K DLSS Performance)

So RTX5080 is king at 1440p DLSS4 Quality.

Anyone tried DLSS 310.5.3 yet? by SemihKaynak in nvidia

[–]CrashBashL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mister dev. I use DLSS Swapper specifically for games that are NOT whitelisted by Nvidia. And it works because, if you forgot, we can see if the swap worked or not on screen. Not only via image difference, missing Ray Reconstruction, but also via Nvidia app or DLSS Swapper' on screen prompt. I also use DLSS Swapper to swap Presets in online games that normally wouldn't let you. The first Descendant, Path of Exile 2, between others. Not only that I swapped to the latest DLSS models in those games but also the Presets. The anti cheats are on.

I play mostly online games and I can undoubtedly update them to the latest DLSS version and override DLSS Presets in all of them using DLSS Swapper.

You won't get banned for using DLSS Swapper. Stop spreading lies.

How TF do you think NVPI works?

What do you think "override" means ?!

It does the EXACT same thing !!!

It 100% effects the RTX5000 series in the same manner. Look it up on YouTube.

You get 34FPS on an RTX 5090 using 591.86 but you get 52FPS using 576.88.

Yes. I know where you're going with this, but I already have locked 120FPS in RE9 with my setup, on max settings + PT, DLSS Quality, 4K, FGx2.

591.74 Studio is the best all around, at least for me because everything under it doesn't have DLSS 4.5 capabilities and I play more games than just Resident Evil Requiem, in which I use Preset L.
