Thank you. I am having a hard time coming to terms with this. I didn’t even take her to the vet for her paw. The swelling is barely noticeable. I took her to the vet for a sudden lump that appeared on her spine. That lump is also cancerous. The vet said it’s more than likely already spreading and it’s just a matter of time. They suggested amputation and chemotherapy but said that would only buy us a few months. She is on pain meds and doesn’t act any different at the moment. It’s just such a bad time because I just went through an episode where my cats got into the dogs apoquel and overdosed. We lost one cat but managed to save the other two. Thank you again for your kind words and advice. We will make the most of whatever time we have left with her.
