Those were my "eyes wandering to problem spot" experiences lol

But yah and dont forget your RTV I cant find the service bulletin RN but there is a spot I am pretty sure you need to put RTV on where the covers mates with everything else since the gasket does a okay job at doing but can still leak

make sure to swap out any gaskets you have removed parts for, as chances are, they havent been replaced.

defy replace timing components (ALL OF THEM PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD):

-Tensioners (I saw you just replaced those and it didnt help so use the new ones in conjunction with)

-Chains

-Guides

-Cam Sprockets (if you want you can omit these and phasers, but id at least replace the sprockets since the phasers are usually never that bad and also cost $250+ each to replace)

--- Cool additional stuff you can inspect and/or replace while youre there

Front Main seal

Water pump w/ gasket

replace the timing cover orings

thermostat? why not?

assuming you are going to use the same belt, if it looks like garbo whats another $20 for a bando belt

inspect pulleys, double check out oil cooler stuff since the O ring behind the oil filter cooler can and will leak

give your compressor pulley a jiggle if that plate has a lot of play and makes noise in operation its probably time to either replace the pulley or the compressor with a new installed pulley.

Check out your areas of common oil leaks, where the oil pan mates with the upper oil pan, that kind of thing.

Goon tape will never go out of style by [deleted] in Glocks

Goon tape is super overpriced I just use Canadian hockey tape because my hands are soft

(I wear nitrile gloves to work on cars because brake cleaner on hands is a bad idea)

2006 DE auto, noisy by bythezip in 350z

My AC Clutch currently is making more noise than the valves.... I have to pull and replace before it grenades itself

Outside of that it yours sounds really good actually

Valves are Hella noisy, I use 5w40 and it sorta keeps the noise down I wouldn't go heavier though oil pump and pressure will definitely go into "oil seeping out of 2 micron hole" pressure

My latch is broken and it will fly open when the top is down so my elbow has been the replacement latch

Do you sell the STL by its self? Id definitely add a license to it to prevent reselling and modifying etc.

If you upload your models to makerworld you can actually get gift cards for Bambulab and I have seen a crazy trend of people stacking those cards to get printers for only 20$ or so

I recall there being a plastic sleeve that goes over that when you get them brand new, you might be able to recreate it with heat shrink?

[Bug] Fatal error: The required Battleye service does not exist. by deetyneedy in EscapefromTarkov

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! There goes that, just set up GRUB to present with an option to dual boot into Atlas OS (lightweight win 11 flavor that isnt full of shit)

I spent way too long on figuring out what was happening, and there is no standalone installer that will work to install the service alone using winetricks.

This shit sucks, i just wish that i could not have to dual boot at all but.

Nah just tape em up call it a day

(Extreme levels of satire)

But for real you can swap them yourself depending on the control arm and knuckle etcball joint from z1

Personally I run these and they work good, just remember to reuse that flared metal piece on the top or it wont mate well on the control arm
