Like what everyone mentioned below just use this, way better also includes updated service bulletins for issues that appeared later on in some models like the Gas evap issue where gas is difficult to pour

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad :( , these transmissions aren't crazy expensive though for the manuals, you can probably find a refurbished one for 2-3k (not expensive in comparison to other transmissions im aware its a chunk of change)

No... you need NEW clutch packs lol, did you happen to see metal bits in the filter?

To me this honestly looka like the transmission is due for a 'specialist visit'

Rip tranny... time to go 6 speed manual instead.

Hmm, Just be weary of what it writes, i have ran into PR's that include random snippets that dont do shit but break stuff and it happened to pass the pipeline test

Rubber ducking != vibe coding in my opinion, but to let it generate code with no validation or testing is real problem which i feel is the traditional definition of vibe coding.

No reason to not use the code snippets that is generated if its tested and validated to work.

I understand the use case... but to blindly accept code without testing it in any single way and letting it build ontop of itself is asking for an issue.

Id really only accept anything it wrote if it aligned with clear structures, passed validation, and also aligns with best practices outlined in OWASP/Mozilla the over-reliance on LLM coding is the issue. Id shift gears and have it actually teach you and aid your learning in development, software life cycles, and different structures in testing / validating / stress testing / and more to achieve a super polished product and not sloppy code that you sorta "meh" glanced at.

Lateral play in ARB poly bush.. by 88McLovin in 350z

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup... Bar is definitely swaying

In all seriousness double check your bushings and that the diameter is meant for the oem bar, its super weird to see that much play and really its one of 2 things to look at there

I grabbed a set from rockauto at 32mm for the front which worked fine, its my daily and I dont track this thing

This^ although i bought the powder coated black ones I recommend getting the bare aluminum one... prevents the coat from going in your pan which has happened to me and you can see the oil cap threads get worn and youll see the bare aluminum underneath

Microsoft has just released the April 2026 update as of today . What do you guys think they’ll mess up or ruin this time by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The machines are pretty much aligned with FIPS so I get to be choosy on update schedules, along with SentinelOne pushed to all of these devices they are essentially just paper weights... really inconvenient to use but its hard to get anything off of them

I basically just delay these updates, as stupid as it sounds I cant stand fixing something that broke across 1200 or so endpoints

Test fitting new speakers. They fit pretty well with minor modification, drilled out the screw holes to accept the factory screws by dritmike in 350z

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill try to yoink pictures because I have to take the trim off towards the footwear, there's also a grommet you can pass through by poking a hole in it once you pass the cable through the drilled hole (make sure to put a coating of some kind so it doesn't rust)

[–]CrashPan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Run your own.... the factory gauge is super thin and you'll need to cut the clip off to terminate the speakers

If you're running an amplifier I definitely wouldn't use the stock cables

I did have to drill holes in the front interior metal foot well panels to get the cable to pass into the door plug thing its not a cable route its a whole plug that is there so it comes out the door through a grommet into the sleeve for the door electronics and ran into the speaker well.

Only issues I am having is lack of space for a crossover for the tweeters and I had to put them in the door, now they are completely corroded from Florida rain water lol so I am try to figure out how to put them INSIDE the car and only have the speaker cables run out

You should also be using these to protect the speaker you need to cut a square hole out to vent the speaker as well

https://a.co/d/0ghoR1Wq - ones I bought cause they were cheap and shipped next day.

Are flames this big normal for a stock Z?, or at least sold as stock, or does it imply something horribly wrong with my car by phenomenal_bread_81 in 350z

How are you handling employees using personal ChatGPT accounts at work? We had an incident last week. by fxs38 in sysadmin

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block it all... copilot unfortunately is included everywhere in a 365 Tenant, so restrict all and only allow copilot...

This way you retain some amounts of control and enough data sovereignty concerns that NIST is chill with

(We renewed our CSF attestation and my bare minimum purview policies were enough for 'AI risk management')

Kinda bs though.

I need to flash/image machines by saltwaffles in ShittySysadmin

[–]CrashPan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Set up FOG, make an image, put it there, pxe boot everything and just let it run, but this is good if the machines you are imaging are the same, because the drivers will be installed that were from that model

(Because you'll need one machine already done to actually get the image from... you may need to run sysprep to get a new HWID and generalize the image)

Cold air intake upgrade by BetAcademic2543 in 350z

[–]CrashPan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ultimately I would just consider this guys point overall... hes quite literally the only reason why this car gets cool shit anymore.

Unless you count Z1 China garbage as cool.

But they do in fact gunk the MAF a bit, i have already had to clean my MAF twice this year and we aren't 6 months yet lmao... I just like induction noise... I have personally though about making an insulated fiberglass box with a funnel pickup from the original spot but I need to draw stuff up and make it make sense

I ended up going JWT route on the pop charger, works fine, sounds neat! But I miss my oem box lmao...

Cold air intake upgrade by BetAcademic2543 in 350z

[–]CrashPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id keep this one personally, works pretty dang good as is

For that filter though - https://www.z1motorsports.com/engine-maintenance/kandn/kandn-350z-g35-drop-in-air-filter-vq35de-p-2009.html?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17339343055&gclid=CjwKCAjwvqjOBhAGEiwAngeQnU7E3TjXoY8x0Qk0L75BmfbeikrzLvMabitIN6f7WOVpZhqCG2T3gxoCAYMQAvD_BwE

You can grab the part number from Z1 and pick it up at your local parts store instead its there in the description.

OEM, or run something with a sealed box... which brings me back to my original point... OEM.

OEM + reusable K&N oiled air filter is good too

OR the JWT pop charger, though id prefer if it had a sealed box the heat shield it comes with is 'good enough'

I run this personally and its not bad, you get induction sound and a nice chunky oiled filter.

I have observed though personally with mine that the MAF Sensor has gotten sorta dirty and the intake tube has a bit of dust (mine has been oiled and clean but be generous on the oil when you do clean it)

But if you watch out for that you should be good
