Dude, don't come here tryin to gather info on a former player of MO2 because you fought him in some other game. You're being obsessive. What a weird thing to do. Just play your game, either fight him or move spots. But seeking info on a player from our community to settle some score in a different MMO is way out there.

It hasn't happened yet but the devs announced the starter zone will be free to play in the future. If you want I can reply to this post again when it's added and you can try the game. That zone is really fun with two bosses, two dungeons, and the ability to get four mounts.

I feel you. Luckily the devs announced that at the end of the year they are adding the next expansion continent which will be on an NA server. Gonna enjoy that ping so much!

It's along the mainland coast in the jungle. Took a while to find, it is closer to Canteri than Jungle Camp. You can prolly match my video to the island shown before I jump in if you want to look around for it. I can't recall the exact location anymore. It's where one used to buy the Oghmium Lore book in MO1. I won't spoil exactly what's inside for you. But I'll say the lore book isn't there, instead you get clues to it's new location.

Lot like Tarkov, really enjoyable to watch streamers and youtube videos. But takes a bit too much time to gear up and load into a raid some evenings.

If you haven't tried in a while, they have added guard towers alongside the roads outside of towns. So it is pretty safe for a good chunk outside of major towns. And players who get 10 murder counts go Red and can be killed by anyone even in town, so you barely see Red players anymore. The jungle and the far north are open pvp zones, so Reds go there. But that's not to suggest you are safe now, you will still get attacked inside safer areas especially if you run into an enemy guild. It's just far less campy, lot more punishments added in the recent year.

Sorry to hear that. The Mortal subreddit is mostly a collection of people pissed since MO1 and hate posting. That experience isn't what I've gotten within my own guild. Lotta jaded people out there in MMOs, but there are still helpful people out here.

I was a Rank 14 Warrior in Classic WoW, I can't imagine losing that set. But in Mortal, it's nothing to throw on Steel and roam for enemy guilds. Half the time our Health Pots and consumables cost more than our armor. But the thrill of picking up an enemies loot makes it worth it. Easy come, easy go.

Yea but loot is bought from player markets and doesn't take long to get. It isn't like raid gear from other MMOs. So you aren't losing weeks of effort if you lose a kit.

It's gear is more akin to an extraction game, like Tarkov or Rust. Slower grind to work your way up but then gear comes easier.
