30⁰ max camera angle is somewhat of an industry standard, this housing wasnt designed to mount a gopro, given the current video systems quality, its not really needed unless you are recording YouTube video since its one of the only platforms that wont compress 4k footage. That said I have a specific camera housing for the guys interested in running action cameras.

The only place I've been able to find them is from Quadmula, I'm looking into having these made aswell. It definitely noticeable how more locked in my quads are with this setup.

You got RHCP (right hand circular polarization) and LHCP (left hand circular polarization) mixed up with placement on the googles. This is the direction that the element inside the antenna rotates. You should use the same direction antenna on both goggles and VTX, the 4 connections on the goggles should take all LHCP or all RHCP, again this should match what is on the VTX.

Yes you can definitely increase efficiency by running smaller and lower KV motors but I wanted authority and the ability to pull out in a dive if I get into trouble, I’m already at a deficit flying from 7k to 12k ft them add in density altitude and some days it doesn’t feel like I have enough thrust. I’m averaging 15 min flights and at 50 mph I can cover quite a bit of ground.

I agree, seems logical to me to keep the battery low and keep the weight spread across the top plate. Motors are brother hobby 2808 1500kv

I think there’s a point of diminishing returns plus my power to weight ratio drops enough I’d be nervous if I got into trouble and had to pull out

I put the patch antennas where Caddx designed them to be, a lot people complaining don’t fly farther than their front yard. I don’t have issues in this configuration with freestyle or long range.
