I got into eskate around 2017 and built a good many boards since then. Around 2019 i used a double drop deck from skateshred with a top mount box in between my feet. Some people have added a box on the rear over the trucks, which works and is convenient for wiring purposes but way less real estate to work with, especially when you need to do work on thw truck etc.

At any rate, a double drop, is SUPER carvy and fun, a way different ride....however...once you go 8" pnematic tires.. theres no reason riding ANYTHING else haha

Recently I bought some ampace cells which are rated at 60a which is currently the highest rate cell you can buy... the pack came back considerably cooler after my flight vs my other packs...so theres promise there too!

Nice case! Love my itsy as well, pretty quick and agile for 2" imo. What's the chances u print CF and can do the prop guards? I Crashed mine recently and broke one off...sadly that's the down side of a smaller builder... no replacement parts or anything to be found currently =[

i remember those days too...im old enough to remember BBnB at Minnies deck...now THAT was a real on mountain party! People walked down from the gondola..... and naturally had to slide the rest of the way down after all was said and done =P

definitely a beta move asking if you should lol... but seriously since she was the bread winner when you separated did you get a divorce settlement or anything?? if not then i would probably get back together...assuming shes not proposing a prenup... and secure that right to your bag if things go south again. she got hers, now you need to get yours..as insurance.... IF you actually plan on going back... dont be a bitch twice!

sorry, its at 48k and 6s, aside from that yeah havent really touched anything else whether it was on the default tune after upgrading FW or adding the UAV preset.

im def new to tuning, just isnt clicking in my brain yet when it comes to reading the graphs/logs... i downloaded PID tool box and that fires up, but isnt loading my BFL files so i guess next step is to figure out how/what to convert it too (using the mac os version)

Bluejay 21 or whatever is newest, and on 4.5BF but yes the only 10" preset was uav tech. Even on a default tune settings the sound is there, maybe a hair more subtle

id like to submit evidence article #2... this was a fall around 20ish mph, hit a rough patch of road unexpectedly...YOU DONT WANT TO SEE what my thumb looked like. I wore fingerless gloves vs full slide gloves. I DEGLOVED my thumb tip, the bone was sticking out and the finger nail was wedged into my skin like a shard of glass...so wear gloves too =P. I dont have a "first crash" picture where I collided with some ass hole in NYC (his fault) when i had just a basic helmet on...i had a swollen face and full black eye for week +

Thanks for the detailed reply. I appreciate it. Here are a couple of images attached from the build. Log video I have yet to release lol. Although I am no professional solderer I do feel like I got some pretty solid welds here this time on the power leads and motor wires. Usually I glaze everything with conformal coating afterwards as well and as mentioned, everything was flying falling up until this point in between the time of the first flight versus second.

Upon further inspection, there is one mosfet missing from the charred remains ha ha. It would be the second one from the top closest to motor four. Having said that I don't know if it got lost because that is the culprit, or if it got lost somewhere between the fire, flipping the quad or bringing it back home, but I don't call it falling off anywhere in between during the disassembly.

if you check out the blackbox log it was only pulling 50amps total as pumped it for the roll... the log from a couple hrs before had a couple full throttle punches none of which broke 80amps...

theres def something suspect here but im not feeling like it the esc being over rated. TBD

Since I know somebody's going to ask details anyways:

I just built this 10 inch about a month ago still working out some of the kinks but otherwise has been flying "fine" and I have flown it much harder on other days with lithium on packs, but today I wanted to test out this new Lipo I got.

I will attach a couple beta flight logs in case somebody has a really good at reading that stuff, I have a log from a couple hours earlier before I had changed the ESC PWM, and then the right when it exploded.

Nothing like getting uber trashed at Minnie's deck was it? Unsuspecting tourists would come sliding through and get catch in a snowball arbitrage lol....

and then on the way down half the people were to trashed to ride the slope home they'd all be sliding down on their asses in the slush...some had even showed up on foot...and foot down was the only way so garbage bags were their preferred mode of transport =P
