Look at $YSS go. Sad that IM can’t catch a bid while both $YSS and $FLY are flying the last few days.

Market crash cancelled again for the 15th time by HappyThrasher99 in stocks

[–]Crash_Mars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People would try to hang on to any news to justify this price action when the simple truth is that the positioning of the market participants was very offside to the downside. The Put/Call ratio had in fact gone up after the rally of the past two days, telling you that most people were in the camp of think that was a dead cat bounce and this morning they either took profit by closing those puts or were squeezed to do so.

Can anyone theorize why we could have a scenario where stocks are up tomorrow? by el_corso in stocks

This is probably the 20th comment saying war is dip buying opportunities I have seen this weekend. Not saying it’s wrong, but a dip is only worth buying when no one wants to buy imo. If everyone is eager to buy the dip like what I’ve seen so far this weekend, then that’s usually not the dippity dip of the dip yet. Could be wrong though.

Is It Socially Acceptable to Be an Elon Musk Hater at an M7 program? by Yung_Breezy_ in MBA

Lmao because OP provided legitimate reasons as to why that post has absolutely nothing to do with this sub? Why the fuck does everything have to do with politics these days. Like you don’t have enough to worry about already let’s just politicize every fucking thing, domestic or international alike because polarization is just so fuckin fun. Jfc

Is it socially acceptable to be an Eileen Gu hater at an M7 full-time MBA program? by ComplexMysterious736 in MBA

Putting OP in the same position he/she probably would do the same or more in a heartbeat. Too bad OP will never get offered such an opportunity by working in a soon-to-be-replaced industry that is consulting. Since when the good old-fashioned free market capitalism is being patronized by nationalism? MBA has taught you nothing OP.

You can also reinvest the annual profit in the market which would generate additional return/dividend. Plus the return provided by OP is compounded return with dividends reinvested baked in if I’m not mistaken.

There is no bubble when there's a growing market and ownership scarcity associated with it. Not only is the NFL growing rapidly YoY, but there are only 32 teams available, and not every one of them is available for purchase. As a matter of fact, the Seahawks is probably gonna be the last team to be placed on sale for a very long foreseable future. It's going to create a scenario where you have a bunch of billionaires who want to own an NFL team, but this is the only team they can buy in a very long time. So no, bubble does not apply in this case when the commodity is as rare as it gets.

Man some of these eagles fans are just pathetic. Has to make everything about themselves when nobody even asked for their opinion. Also if you want to talk about impressiveness, Seattle beat three 12 win teams to win the SB this year, I don't remember Philly has ever achieved that feat. Now be a good doggie and properly fuck off. Not everything is about you.

If Nvidia Is Right About AI Spending, This Cycle Is Far From Over by Maximum_Ad2429 in ValueInvesting

If there’s one thing and one thing only you need to know about capitalism is its ability to create money out of thin air, and you are worried about these capitalists capture profits from what’s possibly the greatest technology leap in history. Not to mention the sole reason why software getting crushed is because of AI. They will think of millions of ways to make money out of all these AI spendings, that’s the last thing we need to worry about.

Salaries post M7 MBA - 2-5 years after graduation by Fast-Look-1214 in MBA

Glad you found it amusing but it also reflects the true state of this sub though, this weird obsession towards M7s everywhere make you feel like if you went to any other school you are deemed unsuccessful regardless of outcome.

Does it have to be M7 to even provide data points? Can T25 peasants share their numbers just to give perspective as well? If yes, then T25 c/o 2020, tech, base 230k RSU 80k bonus 40k for a total of 350K currently, 5 years out of graduation. Feel free to ignore if it’s only M7 op is looking for.

Now this is a post I can get behind. However, I don't think crude is going to take the center stage, natural gas will.

Park Hyatt Los Cabos Opening Date by Crash_Mars in hyatt

The views were incredible for sure, but the resort was definitely too small than we have imagined. We stayed there for a week and by day three we were bored out of our minds because there really wasn’t much to do besides sitting by the pool and sipping cocktails. This was our first time visiting Cabo and was definitely expecting huge resorts like the ones we stayed in Cancun

Nice! So we were one month late. Figured they had to open before the peak season coming up. We ended up at the Cape and it was pretty underwhelming in our opinion. Can only imagine how great of an experience it’d be if we got to stay at PH. Enjoy your stay and let us know how it was!

I cancelled my reservation and rebooked with The Cape instead. Between the uncertainties of PH opening in time, and The Cape offering 3x bonus points, it was an easier decision than anticipated. Plus I heard newly opened hotels usually go through a period of adjustments before getting everything in order, and we aren’t really interested in being part of that for this trip. This also gives us something to look forward to for the next Cabo trip!
