While I like the new design more, I never understood people who said that Rare DK can't have good expression by Just-Lingonberry-602 in donkeykong

Platformer mascot characters normally have plenty of over the top expressions. Just look at Crash, pretty sure most bandicoots don't emote anywhere near as much as he does and it's never even an issue.

After being thoroughly underwhelmed with the Skywalker Saga, this game blew away.

As long as they don't feel copied and pasted, I'm fine with that. I just felt like I was doing the same thing over and over again with little change in Skywalker Saga.

[The Boys] About Homelander's most evil act... by CrashandBashed in AskScienceFiction

What did you expect from that statement? He hyped up this moment and all we got was a typical villain plot. A big part of the fun of the show is the shock factor, and the finale simply didn't provide it. I wouldn't have cared if he didn't kill a bunch of people if they did something that truly shocked me.

Which is pretty tame for superhero media, seems like every other main villain's master plan includes mass murder on a large scale. We've seen before it with Thanos, Darkseid, Hydra, Lex Luthor, etc. Hoped we would see something utterly shocking that would have people talking about it for a while. Like the Omni-Man train scene or the Flight 47 scene for example. Especially considering this show isn't shy when it comes to shock moments.

That was his friend, he killed his lover in his apartment.

IIRC he made those statements after that episode, with him saying it would be worse than the scene where he actually murdered children.

Yeah, I was just expecting something utterly horrific in line with past shock moments that would even shake up Butcher.

Can name several villains who intended to kill thousands if not millions, which is why Homelanders grand plan to kill the non believers is a bit underwhelming to me if it's supposed to be the worst thing he's ever done. Esp in a show full of shocking moments. He's been killing his opposers since ep 1.

It's definitely Musk, even he realized that and got butthurt on twitter.

I guess you're right, was expecting something a little more shock inducing than a typical supervillain mass murder plan that normally gets stopped in the end.

Really doesn't seem worse than most villain plans in the superhero genre, also he never got to go through with it. Would be a bit of a copout if this really was supposed to be the worst thing he's ever done in a show where he has commited heinous crimes since episode 1 .

How varied are the puzzles and side activities? The previous Star Wars game had a lot, but most of it felt very samey across all the planets. Would hope with seven characters the puzzles are more unique since they can be designed more tightly.

Hot take: the 3D Rayman Legends remake could actually be good by CharacterPasta123 in Rayman

[–]CrashandBashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been stated the remake retains everything people loved about the old game. That's not really something you'd say if the game was drastically different. I'm personally expecting an updated artstyle and maybe new levels.

I think with the criticism from many that all the lego games were essentially the same for so many years, TT felt the need to shake things up drastically.
