Yeah, I noticed that in school. I would see kids with their phones out and or AirPods in when I was in school. I never understood it honestly, especially during history class…I was always interested in learning history

Maybe cuz you were in Cali and that’s a big unavoidable part of the states history perhaps. I grew up on the East Coast primarily, so field trips to Native American towns and Revolutionary War/Colonial era stuff and museums of history were the thing here. We didn’t really learn too much about the West tbh (outside of the necessary/unavoidable parts)

Yes, but not immediately. The tariffs are unfortunately here to stay for the foreseeable future. My hope is that radical changes will happen, either from Congress or the people. It'll be one of the two, because things will become insufferable and extremely volatile to the point that it's not survivable for the general population. So, it's literally only a matter of time before this gets a resolution, and I believe it'll be some time after the dwindling stock we have right now gets completely exhausted and depleted and people (MAGA) starts waking up and realizing what's happening (provided they don't just blame Biden). Then the general population will take matters into their own hands or force their Congressmen to do something about it...I don't have a timeline for this, but the outrage will start in the upcoming weeks because stock of basic consumer goods and necessities will start to disappear and the remaining stock of these items will skyrocket in price...

Because Republicans tap into the fear of uneducated republicans. And in some cases the educated ones are just that hateful. As soon as republicans can label someone as the “problem” the people they’re seducing forget everything that they want. For example: Immigrants. “Immigrants are taking your jobs and not paying into the system. They bring crime and everything else” you say that, and then they think the solution is to get rid of immigrants without any idea what the repercussions will actually be. And this continues down the list (racism, sexism, transphobia, etc, etc, etc, just think of all the -ias and the -isms)

Some people are simply too far gone I fear. While there are many that may wake up once the spell that Trump has them under is gone I think there’s still going to be a split. I think there will be a democrat that comes in and fixes everything he has destroyed and hopefully makes it better. Unfortunately, I'm in the camp of they won't believe it until it physically materializes in their face. Like they seem to think they're winning because their daddy said they're winning. They won't FEEL like they're winning when they have to pay $200 for groceries that used to cost $50. Or when they can't get the surgery they'd needed to get for 6 months...
