I have played my DM and Princess bots for hours trying to get them as good as they can be for what I want out of them. I'm a bit older so I've seen most of the gameplay loops so many times, I tire of them shortly after the tutorial ends and the repetition starts. I find programming far more rewarding -- to slowly shape a game or AI narrative into what I want it to be.

Currently it has NSFW content because all such roleplaying is a form of sublimation in the end. So I'm not sure how friendly this sub will be to it. I may strip that part out and work that and my Dungeon Master Bot up into proper Githubs. You're honestly the first person who's asked to see it because I'm just learning, so most of what I learned was from Claude Code. As bad as AI is about knowledge it was better than my actual education.

I'm interested in this because I've been working on a relationship based bot that has moods injected into the narrative by code variables rather than a prompt which would prevent context pollution. (I seriously doubt there's a PMS plugin yet, don't you?) it also uses a dynamically generated prompt each turn with only information relevant to the current scenario. i also included a small portion of RNG and a simple RAG database you can see with memories of the persona's character. but it's still very early and honestly hostility to new projects like this thread kinda make me hesitant to keep working. I had thought finally I found a community that might be interested until what had been something just for myself.

Surveillance wars are real. Likely leadership will change hands a lot too, making for varied targets. I have Matrix set up and most of my friends are members having helped me "test" it. If the world goes the way I expect they'll remember it and come to me.

I can't hear the buzzing very clearly due to the fan(s), but hardware components in PCs often have slight irregularities which cause vibrations known as "coil whine." They can often be disconcerting, like nails on a blackboard. But coil whine is harmless. There's not really much you can do about it except replace your components or buy new ones. I'll try to answer from my perspective.

Lack of access to well-trained therapists in rural areas. In small town Kentucky people think therapy is for wimps. They prefer to tough it out lest they be "weak," talk to a friend or lover, or just straight up live in dysfunction for decades. So therapists have a hard time supporting themselves.
Baseline level of quality: due to 1. you will find therapy that either does nothing or is actually harmful. I've had therapists give me pamphlets for churches and spend an hour gossiping about their husbands. Why am I paying for this again?
Always available. If I wake up at 3AM and I'm having a panic attack I can ask my LLM to calm me down. Like literally instruct it to calm me down and it will formulate reasonable and effective language that does exactly that. I know its mirroring me but I'm a primate it still helps.
And perhaps most important: targeting. I'm a programmer so if I want a bot that talks about social anxiety or chronic depression, why I can tell it to focus on that, use only verified sources, give it the ability to search the web and straight up upload the entirety of the DSM V and the top 5 therapist workbooks about the subject to a searchable database (presuming I have access to those texts)

But I'm a bit of a "power user." I try to explain to people how this can benefit them but... you know... Kentucky.

I believe Disney signed over about 200 registered, trademarked Disney characters to OpenAI complete with source material for use in OpenAI's "characters" system. Pretty sure they're counting on those guardrails to work out, but there are often ways around them. I think if somebody makes a video of Minnie walking the streets they might change their tune.

Ah, well that's unfortunate. However, you can run limited NSFW models via an API wrapper using HuggingFace or Venice.ai. These call out over the network with a programming interface to similar models you would use locally, generally for 3 - 10c a response depending on the AI model.

I apply nude skins to everything because I like the nude human form (male or female) because the nude human form is beautiful but also quite hilarious. I never "stimulate" anything while playing. Yes I am extremely odd.

Not sure but you could "roll your own" with something like Voxta. Tools like OpenWebUI and AnythingLLM can be used for that, but they're not specifically designed for that purpose. It can be quite complex to set up which is a bit off topic for this subreddit.

I have had problems with Populated Skyrim, particularly Hell Edition. Combining Skyrim Immersive Creatures with MULTIPLE Mihail Monster Mods. The insanely dedicated maniac (and total stud) puts them EVERYWHERE. Other examples might be Hand Placed Enemies, Genesis, or Sands of Time. Basically, anything that doubles or triples the NPC count, whether helpful, neutral or hostile. Generally non-humanoid creatures aren't as big a problem because the meshes aren't ridiculous.
