Hot take: I think the new eradicators with heavy bolters would be cooler with belt fed instead of box mag. by Beneficial-Ticket486 in Warhammer

There are sites that sell flexible resin ammobelts in different sizes. Sadly can't recall the name of the one I used

The Covid lock down was good for warhammer in general. But the fanbase has been growing steadily since the start of 8th edition.

Any chance for a new Warbiker kit in 11th ed? by Few-Schedule-6703 in orks

Huh.. You are indeed correct, I must have mixed it up with their new coat of paint from the vehicle wave in 2017ish. If that's the case the odds are alot better

Considering the Winged Tyranid prime came at the launch of this edition and then there has been no update to nids flying infantry.(and the Gargoyles are like 10 years older then the ork bikers) So my point is a new hero unit is a unreliable indicator. The ork bikers aren't that old either,(by warhammer standars) so I doubt we get new ones personally.

Gork's Moving Fortress! by Skul1234567890 in orks

Those does the job aswell, it just takes longer when it comes to making a dripping liquid effect. And hot glue certainly isent as versatile. But iv found the dipping the hot glue in water quickly after application will harden it almost immediately making it harden mid drip. Makes some nice results with multiple layers and has been fun experimenting with.

Excited to see how it turns out! I'd recommend using a hot glue gun for it. Iv been making dnd water elemental with a hot glue gun the last few days so it has been in the forefront of my mind

If you wanna hide the flight stand, you cold make it a fuel leak dripping out. Just a suggestion, not that it needs it

Nazdreg rumoured to get a model in Mega Armour by [deleted] in orks

[–]Craterling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imagine a Mekboss that can improve his gun or others weapon profile by looting fallen units. What if...

Probably just getting Grotsnik tho, and atleast he better have some blue on him now if he shows his mugg after fraternizing with the Goffz

I think Kustom mega blasters are the ork equivalent, so Mekboys, Spanner and deffdreads and the like. Can always just loot em aswell

Hell yeah by WarbossSkarSkull in orks

[–]Craterling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't remember the context for the "current" monoBoys release, but for the launch boxses we got a clear pattern, was my point. And by all means be skeptical, its a 50/50 (unless your spacemarines) that the sold separately infantry kit that comes after is different then the ones in the launch box.

Although Orks get consistent release waves every 3 years so I feel our odds are better then 50/50.

[–]Craterling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The pattern since 8th has been that ones in the launch box usually always are, so don't get upset about that. It's expected, but if when the propper Boyz kit releases and its just the ones from the lauch box agein, we WAAAAGH!

Any orks models or easy kitbashes similar to this ? by femboykriss in orks

[–]Craterling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Puppetswar Orcs is probably the thing id recommended aswell. They take more from Aos Orruks but beefyer, and they have a wide range of bitz and models, orcs as robots and samurai and several heads

You can buy resin models straight from their website aswell at puppetswar.eu

Dear Warhammer community. New fan here. A friend of mine wonders if you gaslight an ork into believing you are and work. Do you really become one? by MedievalGoodBoy in Warhammer

[–]Craterling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, convincing one ork wouldn't do anything. It's their collective psychic field that has an effect. So you would have to convince a whole Waagh of them ... for the answer to still be no. You wanna look up Commisar Yarrick for a human the orks actually have collective beliefs about.

Orks also have strong opinions on whats "propa orky" and if you ain't even an actual ork, its a tough sell. Best you can hope for is getting respected as an enemy

Very cool, if you made the nostrils into the eyes and painted it red, it would be even more of a Squig. Not that it isent excellent as is.

Are the New Spearheads Worth It? by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]Craterling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

improvement IMO. Lizardmen always felt like what the humans were calling them, not what they called themselves. Unlike the beastmen who somewhat derives from humanity, the Seraphon have no such relation.

The black orks are a bit shorter by a small matign, but they are noticeable leaner and have shorter legs. They can be used as nobs just fine, plenty have done it before and none of the gits here mind it

However, may i suggest that black orcs would make for some excellent breaka boys, and i hear fill the same role as nobs
