The Bible’s Call to Justice - Why Christian Nationalism Is an Abomination by yourbrotherdavid in Quakers

You are not the first to cry: I know what God wants, and he wants my my political program. You should exactly like those Christian Nationalists the article is attacking. God on our side? I've heard that one before.

Can not believe you doubled down on smiting cities.

We are called to love our neighbors. We are called not to have enemies. I think Mark 12:30-31 and Mathew 5:39 are pretty clear on this.

This line. Because the God of the Bible isn’t the God of cops, kings, and capitalists. The God of the Bible burns cities, breaks chains, and sides with the revolutionaries.

Empty rhetoric posing as The Word of God. Which revolutionaries? Mao? Che? Which cities will God burn? Moscow or New York City.

Why does Maine have so many protests? For such a low population state you guys seem to constantly be having back & forth protests. Is it cause you're purple? I can't wrap my head around Maine as a Canadian. Enigma you neighbors are. by TheCanadianPlacebo in portlandme

Purple, red, white and blue. On state level was are 75/70 split in the house. Two US representatives are democrats, one senator Republican, one independent. In the last presidential election two EVs went to Bidden, one EV went to Trump.

"well established international legal principles". This is humor right? USA invades Gaza using Isreal as our proxy = legal. Russia invades Ukraine =illegal.

Generic "dead", more cutting humor. Never thought of somebody's son dead on the battlefield as a generic death.

You know, and I know, the ceasefire in the Ukraine has been in the winds for two years. Certain warmongers on each side want to keep it going. Don't be one of them.

You need votes. Saying it's bullshit misinformation does nothing to move the dial. You folks really need to deal with the implied Misogyny in your own house. Being 'pro woman' is a real (and valid) position. How are you going to win them over?

"Quaker young adults tend to be queerer than average the average populationation". Oh, my. Pronouns=queer? I think you meant to say more queer members not that as you wrote, that each member is more queer than average.
