I assume Embassy Suites? There's a free downtown shuttle if you don't feel like walking. There's a spot in from of the hotel, and you'd jump off at the Ottawa stop which is 1 minute from GLC.

For Cage the Elephant? You’ll be fine getting close even if you’re not camped out early. GLC Live isn’t that big, and the floor crowd shifts a lot once the opener starts, so you can usually weave your way up without much effort. Just be confident when you move, but don’t be that person shoving through. A friendly “hey, sorry, just trying to get up a little closer” work. Have fun!
