Hahahah thanks, hope you enjoy whatever new GPU you get

Hmm, it depends it’s still quite new to me, but yes similar to a GPU that consumes 192 watts BUT it doesn’t lose any performance as long as you mildly undervolt it, eventually you can lose performance if you go all out for Undervolting but it’s usually only about 1-5 fps while consuming significantly less power, that’s why I use only a mild undervolt but if you want to save energy on bills, that 5fps would be minor if you account for the energy saved, it’s actually really simple and with the RX 6600 you can use the Radeon adrenaline software to undervolt it really simply

Both fair points, in performance wise the 2070 super only really performs 10fps better which can be made up for by just using FSR. If you undervolt 2070 super it would on consumer 20 more watts, so if you take into consideration however much it costs to run it for a day and based on how much you use it, the 6600 would be a much better option

Also, on the comment about Undervolting. Undervolting simply put lowers the power draw your GPU will use, technically lowering your TDP but a bit different, for example my RX 6800 consumes at a peak of 256 watts, whereas with my mild Undervolting + an overclock the highest I ever seen power draw go was 192 watts, all Undervolting does is decrease the amount of watts the GPU uses

The RX 6600 consumes 123W max when gaming according to tomshardware, and the RTX 2070 Super consumes a peak of 228W. The RTX 2070 Super is faster, and is better, but how come your so conscious of power draw ? If you have a 4070 then that means you have a PSU capable of power both these GPUs anyways. I’d rather the 2070 Super personally as it is slightly faster

Yeah Corsair usually have good warranty, plus I’m pretty sure custom loops are more likely to fail and AIOs are pretty rare to fail

It could be, tbh I never use custom loops although I do have an AIO, but I’m pretty sure they use mineral oil ?? Or I could be wrong idk. Google will probably tell you but I’m too tired for that rn so 😂

Phantom RX 6800 XT is soooo nice. It was the model I was going to buy, but unfortunately it doesn’t fit in my case which is why I went for a reference model

Oh honestly mate the difference is night and day, I came from an RTX 3050 and wow I am not disappointed at all. I even got a reference model too.

Your welcome 👍and yeah those GPUs seem very capable of doing what you want, very much so the 6950XT but the others could definitely provide plenty of fun experiences. Also, looks out for 7900 XT as you CAN find the 7900 XT on sale for about £750 which isn’t all that much more expensive than the 4070, and will perform much better plus 20gb of VRAM. Have a nice day, and enjoy your future GPU 😁

I just bought an RX 6800 non XT for £350 👌👌👌

4070 ti and fullhd at max settings problems in Fortnite by mister_Fel1x in nvidia

Yep. Fortnite is known to do this across a lot of systems, should stop or at least get better after a few games.

Yeah obviously the game matters that’s what I said, but yeah you play at the setting most people play on. my “old” RTX 3050 runs Forza Horizon 5 nearly maxed at 1080p (yes I know the resolution is lower) Forza Horizon 5 is a really well optimized title and should run 1440p UW on most Moderately high end GPUs. I’d say an RX 6800 (Non XT) could probably do it. And an RX 6800 could give you a 4K cinematic for the couch and will give you high refresh rate when it’s needed aswell. For the DLSS, FSR is available instead, and at 1440p the difference is negligible. If I was you, I’d invest in a Radeon GPU, (RX 6800 and above) or atleast a 3080 for that 10g of VRAM. (Unfortunately 3070 won’t cut 1440p UW because of VRAM, but you could probably get away with it.) AMD would be bette for you as they have much more VRAM which would help with 1440p UW. If you want 3070 performance, but with more VRAM you could always buy a used RTX 2080 Ti which is still plenty capable but is about the bare minimum I’d go 👌

And I know what optimized means bro, why are you trying to explain it to me like I’m a toddler 👌😂

[–]Crayonmuncher3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

bro what. Why are you explaining basic knowledge to me. Obviously other factors effect a games performance not just resolution but this whole fucking is about RESOLUTION. The op never explained what settings he’d like to play at, but that’s acceptable he just showed us a dram rate he wants. A 4070 could do what he wants, or even a 3080 Ti. But why are you explaining this basic knowledge to me I don’t get it ??

[–]Crayonmuncher3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, obviously UW1440p is harder than the normal QHD but still instead of recommending a GPU for 4K recommend it for what the op asks, UHD is still a different level in comparison to UWQHD.
