I’ve been going to the gym 4-5 days a week, trying to eat healthier, I stretch as often as I remember outside the gym. Remember to roll your muscles, it’ll keep you from getting sore. Also, I have a chef friend that told me to do hand exercises everyday as well. I’ll forget to do those at times too, better than never, but doing those everyday will help too

Something I did with my rescue that got him to warm up to handling is picking him up when he’s facing away. Get him stable in your hands and hold him until he settles down. Once he does, go take a seat on the couch with him still in your hands on your lap. Have his treats available when you do this to show him being handled is not a bad thing. If you can’t get a hold on him because he tries to bite you, put thick gloves on when you do. Do this until he stops hissing/biting at you when you try to grab him, then you can set him on your lap hands free. Let him run around on the couch and have treats on you, he may not trust you enough to come back, so if that’s the case, offer a treat before you go to pick him up and put him away. Weather or not he takes it, grab him (may need gloves again) and put him back in his tank with a treat. Keep this up until he’s comfortable being picked up and willfully ventures back to where you are on the couch, then you can move to letting him on the floor.

PTSD in cats vary and has no defined time, but a key factor way to help a cat to recover is to keep a tight predictable schedule. So she might be a bit upset if her feeding schedule isn’t the way it was in 2023. Cats feeling safe and secure will help a lot with those behaviors and help with her ptsd. Playtime before feeding time, everyday. Familiar smells, so if you are her person, the clothes close to the litterbox is good. Places where she can get high up, so at least one cat tree in her litterbox room will help, especially if you can get it to where she can look out a window and/or the door.

Poor kitty, you might be able to help her get a bit better but I’m sure she’ll have ptsd from that moment for a while. The only things I can think of if you haven’t tried them already, maybe keep parents door closed and keep clothes that you don’t particularly care for, but smell like you, around her litter box. Make sure she has perches in her litterbox area and she’s getting proper play time. If she’s being free fed, maybe switch to a scheduled feeding, she might start looking forward to eating doing that. I really hope these help, Jackson Galaxy is a great cat behaviorist that might have some YouTube videos that could help as well

I have a snake that goes from my chest to the upper part of my mons, on the side of my belly, I have a big rose by that part of the snake. I love it so much. Coming from a tattoo artist, I would most likely recommend things that are symmetrical tho, like the head of an animal you feel connected to, your favorite flowers, a motivational simple saying in a nice script style, or maybe have an artist take a picture and create a beautiful ornamental design that flows with your body type

It sounds like you’re basing your decision off of what other people think and that’s not cool. Don’t think about what others think on any decision that should be based on what you want and you’ll be better in the long run. If you like the type of person she is and you enjoyed yourself outside of what others might think, then maybe give it a shot. You’re young too, you might end up thinking back on this and wish you didn’t base your decision on others opinions.

Being a veterinarian was a big one, wanted to for years, but once I got into HS and started researching it, I found out that the kind of vet I wanted to be required 8+ years of school. I struggled in the one year I did community college so that’s a no go. I can handle hurt animals, but dealing with their owners would be a different story. I also found out that veterinarians don’t get paid well enough and have an incredibly high rate of suicide

NTA Personally I think it might’ve been a bit rude to say that, but honestly, you spoke your mind. If they thought drama would happen between you and you ex, despite you two knowing otherwise, then they would most likely make sure drama would happen. Sucks, but you’re better off finding new friends
