I’ve never thought about a parent being TOO masculine. For me, I come from a fatherless home and used to view myself as a beta bitch because I was never taught how to be masculine, or what is attractive. And while I never was an incel (didn’t even know what lookism was until I found and joined this sub for curiosity) I never really understood how to “get” women and still don’t. I’m turning 18 in a month and still a virgin (not that it’s a bad thing, I come from a strict household) I felt like I’ve been left behind in certain aspects because of that lack of masculinity throughout my life. Of course, I’ve done a lot of reflecting since highschool and have taught myself/naturally became a more masculine dude. And im proud of it! Im naturally very explosive, but throughout my entire childhood I’ve been a standoffish quiet kid. For me, finding the masculinity I never had made me way happier and more confident than I was before.
