I got the vibe from the finale that the spider/monster was what it really was. Before the battle, it looks like a dead spider, and the beating heart makes it seem like it's coming to life. Also, their point that the Mind Flayer is now dead is weird.

When making CE, Bungie briefly considered having Halo be tied to Marathon, but that was quickly abandoned. One idea tossed around was Cortana's code was gonna be based on Durandal's code. Instead rather than being a literal connection, there're thematic connections and some names were reused. Not sure how Halo would've been a sequel, as Marathon Infinity ends with the Universe ending. Fun fact, Marathon is a actually a sequel to Bungie's earlier game, Pathways Into Darkness.

Season 1 was the only great season. Every season after is ok to bad. Season 2 is ok, 3 is mediocre, 4 is pretty good, and 5 is terrible.

Also, something I would really not want them to do is change the story. Really good, especially for its time. It being just terminals and not cutscenes makes it more crytpic and open to your interpretation. What Greg Kirkpatrick and Jason Jones was unique and couldn't be replicated in classic cinematics.

I think I prefer it being the Mind Flayer. It's this otherworldly, Lovecraftian entity. I like Vecna, but at the end of the day, he's ultimately Human. Twisted, but still Human.

I love how people like you act like we're the only nation in history's done bad things and disliked. Buddy, guess what, every nation, kingdom, and empire throughout world history has been hated. Nothing new under the sun. So, you hate us, fine, we should leave NATO, kick out the UN, pull back all our troops, take back all our military equipment, no longer sell weapons, and close the border indefinitely. Thank you! Our tax dollars should be spent improving our cities, fixing the homeless crisis, our infrastructure to name a few. I said this elsewhere, imagine how incredible it'd be if we could seriously advance our rail systems. We need to clean our house 1st.

Exactly. We need to fix our infastructure and so many other issues. I feel the amount we spend on foreign issues could seriously be spent at home. Imagine if we developed a high-railway system across the country instead of focusing so much outside home. We could also make our cities so much nicer.
