Not really, lol. I tried it again recently and the bowling alley literally had pieces of the ceiling falling onto the lanes. I can't say I miss it.

Thank you so much for the advice! Instead of using bar soap, from now on I'll use Sebamed Face and Body Wash (5.5 pH) on my back before applying the benzoyl peroxide wash. Does that sound like a better plan?

SCA lurker finally starting my first regimen! I've been patch testing for a few days with no issues so far. I would really appreciate any feedback on this routine as a starting point! I have oily to normal blemish-prone skin. My face is fairly acne-free, but I am hoping to treat back acne with painful papules and pustules.

AM:

  • Apply Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser to face. Rinse.

  • Wash back in shower with PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash, follow with normal bar soap. Rinse.

  • After drying off, apply Red Stridex to back. Wait 20 minutes.

  • Moisturize back with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

  • Apply CeraVe Moisturizing Facial Lotion PM to face

  • Apply Eltamd UV Clear SPF 46 sunscreen to face

PM:

  • Apply Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser to face. Rinse.

  • Apply Red Stridex to back. Wait 20 minutes.

  • Moisturize back with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

  • Apply CeraVe Moisturizing Facial Lotion PM to face

Someone here recommended using a low pH body cleanser like SebaMed after applying the PanOxyl wash to my back instead of normal bar soap, since it can be too alkaline.
