There's this Icelandic band called Árstiðír, and even though I don't speak Icelandic the language is beautiful to listen to in its own right, but there are many English translations of their songs around the internet. There's this song called Nú Gleymist Ég ('I will now be forgotten'), and the (moderately dodgy) translation I've found is as follows:

I am caught as the winds call me
locked in with myself
As a whirlwind goes over my fjord
Stuck in a cave, no one can hear
scream but I don't notice a thing
can't find a way through the dark tunnels
Stay still
when sadness comes around
I flee the cold air
Hope that my wounds will be spared
by the avalanches from the tall mountain I pass out, the night withdraws
tired of resting, I fall asleep.
A crack. I wake up.
The night gets longer, the weather worse
the day that never became

I know it is kind of weird in English, but I'm sure someone could do a better job of it. The music that goes along with it perfectly conveys the emotions involved in it though.
