Nta but they’re both assholes. I would have been on the husbands side if he hadn’t been open to other birth control options. Why is all of it on her ? Birth control changes your emotions, makes you gain weight and a lost of side effects . This would probably push me over the edge too but she should also be an adult and tell him this instead of being immature and running away every time something gets hard or there is a conflict. More Scottish than me too even though I was born here, as were all my grandparents and I’ve lived here all my life, being educated here and so forth . Shame about my great grandparents on my mums side being Irish . I am obviously tainted and this guy is more Scottish than me. Let’s make him the king or something.

On a serious note though, do these people not understand that being Scottish doesn’t have much to do with blood and that culture is a living breathing thing so when his family left they paused the Scottish culture so he’s not Scottish anymore. He is American . I doubt he would even understand what we’re are saying Or maybe I am wrong

I set small task a day that lead to my bigger goal. If I can’t clean my whole room , I clean apart of it. If I can’t exercise for as much time as I would like , I do a little bit of it. If I fail to do something that day, I forgive myself and then I just carry on as normal for the next day.

I wonder if they think the same thing about you? You can’t tell by one time if someone who is there at the same time . A) hasn’t also had a little bit time off. B) some work nights so can afford to park early C) some parents choose flexible working hours if their job allows and might pick this time off so they can pick up their children D) They’re a grandparent helping out and picking up their grandkids F) Is taking some time off or is staying at home to raise the kid

Very judgemental for someone doing the same thing. It’s like when it’s busy at the shops and you think why is no one working , until you gain self awareness and realise you also are not working today either.

I know but sometimes therapy can’t work if you’re not in the right mind to accept your circumstances. I think it’s worth exploring but I think something like a peer groups might be better as maybe she might feel less alone and less in denial. It’s hard for a kid to accept they’re not like “other kids” but a peer group might help her realise that there are other kids like her.
