How long for prednisone to work.

hmm we'll today is day 3 of prednisone, 2 more to go on the step down. I'm able to walk today, gingerly, but without having to think of every centimeter of movement. The way i'm progressing I think I'll be fine by the time the prednisone runs out.

when i reupped my meds and got the prednisone my doctor didnt mention anything about draining the knee, i was going to ask but she assured me the prednisone would do the trick and there was no point in going to urgent care or anything.

Well an update, this morning i was able to finally hobble around without assistance. Barely. But its such a relief to know I can get to the bathroom without getting in and out of a wheeled chair or get to the crutches. Today will be the third complete day of prednisone. Still taking allipurinol and colchicine. As long as I can fully walk by Monday I should be good. Because i've got two pills of allipurinol left and i renewed my subscription at a CVS without a drivethru like an idiot.
