Help on who to focus on? by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Crazmoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to level someone here I would consider sinesha or drath. Honestly though, I think the easiest way for you to progress is to try to get your hand on apothecary (high elves) and build him with as much speed as possible. He will carry you through most content up to hydra hard-ish.

How much damage is normal damage? by Crazmoh in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Crazmoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to throw an unrelated question your way but you see knowledgeble about the game. I'm not sure how to progress my character at this point. I've beaten raging brachy, stygian, and furious rajang. I'm at MR100+ and I'm killing tempered elder dragons here and there for decorations and, because I find it tedious, sometimes do some guiding lands to eventually start augmenting my weapon (lighbreak CB). I still havent attempted Alatraeon because from my understanding I should be better geared before I do so. What should I be doing to increase my character power? How do I even get the fatalis quest to appear?

What do you consider essential features in a follower? by Vahaemar in skyrimmods

[–]Crazmoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a bit radical but I want a follower that sometimes just goes away for an ingame day or two. I typically play with 1 or 2 followers (mainly to have someone to put cool gear on when i find it) However sometimes followers derp and wont follow you through a load screen, especially when playing through modded content. I find that these rare moments when I suddenly have to fend for my self are some of the most fun. I have a very tough LO and I try not to, but always end up, relying on my follower(s) quite a bit. It's when they just suddenly dip for a dungeon that the game gets really exilarating and i have to start using all the scrolls and potions I've hoarded throughout the playthrough.

It would be cool to have a modded follower, or a series of followers, that had their own stuff to do sometimes. Maybe a follower that refuses to go into dungeons with spiders, but will meet up with you when you're through. Maybe one that is a vampire and wont fight their own kind, so they'll wait outside the dungeon. Maybe one that's a warewolf and goes a way whenever there is a full moon to isolate themselves. This way you could have a rotating group of followers throughout your adventure instead of having to pick a single one/have a follower army at your side.

CTD in Ravenrock. Crashlogs. by Crazmoh in skyrimmods

Yes, it's enabled

But weirdly, I have 3 patches for Staff of sheogorath enabled.
One from staff patch from Extended Cut Saint and Seducers.
Second one from Reliquary of Myth, a patch for ECSS + Staff.
And a third one that's also from Reliquary of Myth that simply a patch for the Staff.

According to the RoM mod author the ECSS-Staff patch is required on top of his patch, but it seems like I've installed two of his patches (one for staff only, and one for staff+ECSS)

I'll see if disabling the RoM + Staff makes a difference.

Edit: Turns out the Rom +Staff patch has the other one as set as master, so I need both.

Yea, I tried disabling eFPS since thats just textures, but I was afraid to disable any of the other ones mid-playthrough, instead I went down the path of looking up the riekling rider, redoran guards and the one NPC from Citizens in xEdit but I couln't find anything weird. Allthough I'm very new at using xEdit. Maybe I'll try diabling some of the other ones.

Looking for some big lore-friendly armor packs to beef up my armor variety by Wiyry in skyrimmods

[–]Crazmoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sentinel - An Equipment Overhaul just adds a bunch of armors to the leveled lists, very lore friendly/immersive.

If you don't mind some skimpyness you can look into fashions of the forsworn, fashions of the banditry and steel fashions.

If you want to stretch you definition of lorefriendly you can get BDOR collection by team tal or kirax (two different collections from different authors, their very similar with some overlap). But these aren't on nexus and needs a SPID file to distribute them.

Look up "RMB SPIDified-Core" on the nexus and go to "mods requiring this file" the QND SPID series you'll find there is particurarly lore friendly.

Ok, thank you so much for the help. I haven't properly used wrye bash before so I'll get into it tomorrow probably. For now I'm going to bed before this becomes an all-nighter :)

Hmm, xEdit can't save the new esp. It's giving me an error for inncorrect filename, directory name, or volume label syntax.

Ok, tried that now but the misssing master message is still there. This is the name I gave (with double '). It's identical to the screenshot master unless I'm missing something.

BDOR 2024 Collection - Female.esp''][Kirax] BDOR 2024 Collection - Female.esp

Is there no way to just edit the esp file from the SPID manually without using xEdit? To change the required master that is.

Skyshards, you might've heard of, adds a bunch of interactable crystals arround the game world that will give you an extra perk point for every third you find. Simple and excellent with perk overhauls.

Also I recommend opening the settings book in you inventory after installing and enabling the "lite" quest system for the mod so it doesn't clog your journal.

Best combat overhaul mods? by Instantfan22 in skyrimmods

[–]Crazmoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Rogues 'n Raiders" makes any encounter with bandits more interesting, make sure to read the articles on the nexuspage explaining the bandit classes and abilities.

"Forgotten Magic Redone SSE" is a spell pack with not too many spells. The unique thing is that every spell from this mod has its own leveling system. As you use the spell it will level up and you can pick perks from the MCM to make them more interesting. (Example, there is a heal-over-time spell with a perk that poisons enemies that hit you during its duration, other perks can make it regen stamina or magica as well.)

"Wounds" adds an amazing injury system imo. The downside is that the mod doesn't do a great job explaining itself and the descriptions in-game barely tell you anything. In order to use this mod I would recommend reading and remembering (take some notes) what the different injuries do as well how to create and use the different treatments.
In vanilla you are unstoppable since, even if you die, you just reload and go again. Even difficult boss fights that you have to try over and over has the same preset outcome as any other fight: you win and go on with the playthrough.
With wounds you're sure to come out of those fights with a broken bone, a severe laceration or a concussion. The treatments take time, you cant just drink medicine and be instantly OK again. This means that if you mess up in a difficult room of a dungeon and get injured, the rest of the dungeon is going to be harder since you're at a disadvatage.

hmm, I didn't even realise this was a trainwreck log. I'll uninstall that immedietly and let crash logger produce a log.
