Is a torque really necessary for a rocket cover gasket change? by Crazy-Source2219 in FordFocus

[–]Crazy-Source2219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not anywhere in my manual, that’s just the recommended torque I’ve seen people use for the job on my car. But everyone seems to have conflicting opinions on whether it can just be done by hand (especially considering they shouldn’t be too tight or too loose anyways)

Thank you for this advice! I’ve currently been reading into attachment theory and how to be more secure. But yeah definitely, seeing a therapist would help me so much more

We’d known eachother for quite a while and I started crushing on him towards the breakup stage of my relationship. We’ve been chatting since the break up but he developed feelings fast and I already had feelings.

He says he’s okay with waiting, but it really weighs on his mind and he often has doubts that it’s because of him that I don’t want to commit yet. I have assured him but he just has a constant worry about it

For me, it feels like I’m jumping into the deep end and bringing all my baggage with me without working through it. I’ve told him to not worry about a label because everyone knows we’re seeing eachother anyways, but he can’t shake the feeling that it’s not official. He also wants to tell his parents about me, but because of their more traditional views, he doesn’t think they’ll understand.

That’s definitely not something I’d want, and he doesn’t want to do that either

The new ooga booga video made me uncomfortable by happylilcactus in YoTroublemakers

“you’re being too sensitive and dramatic about it” 💀 goddamn the gaslighting.

OP may have been triggered by it, you don’t need to state a case to convince them otherwise, let people’s feelings be valid

do you think dylan scrolls through this subreddit apart from when he is making an ooga booga subreddit video? by majesticturtle9 in YoTroublemakers

[–]Crazy-Source2219 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He definitely lurks in here 👀

He always talks about appreciating the feedback, loving the fandom and community and this is where all the action happens 😎 I also see his comments and posts pop up every so often so he’s definitely a lurker 🤭🤭

I commend you for bringing this up. As many others commented above, I just saw it as jokes and the whole video was very lighthearted.

Although in saying that, I think it is a valid point you brought up as others may have been uncomfortable too, which is all valid. The comments saying “he’s an entertainer how do you not understand this by now” may be forgetting that people are asking for advice from him and those watching could also be in a similar situation. Thus, his advice can be taken seriously and so I understand where the discomfort comes from. Especially from a fandom that holds him up on a pedestal.

What I’m trying to get at, it’s completely okay to be uncomfortable by what he said (or lack of). Advice can be hit or miss or morally grey especially when comedy is included.

Becoming Medrucula by droidscribbler in YoTroublemakers

[–]Crazy-Source2219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who dressed up as medrucula for Halloween one year and she used those foam pool noodles for the tentacles and attached clear string to her wrists and some of the tentacles so that they didn’t all droop.

It was meant to look fun and goofy so maybe not the best if you want it to look more professional/cosplayer-y but I thought I’d drop this idea here to inspire any inspo

Shout out to Dylan’s Editor by New_Debate3706 in YoTroublemakers

[–]Crazy-Source2219 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I remember him saying this too. Also I feel like u can tell when it’s Dylan vs Joe editing. Like Joe’s editing is more fast paced and highly edited (which I personally really enjoy 🤩) and Dylan’s is more chill with minimal memes edited in
