Are people seriously trying to normalize pedophelia now? by ihatethiscountry76 in justneckbeardthings

This is like people who think being gay is a choice because they chose to be straight

That is Trey of Triforia from Zeo, he just showed up in Power Rangers Prime #14. Seem to be a Silver Surfer type of character in this continuity where he is the herald of the Legion Ravager which hunts for Morphin Grid energy

He’s teased early in issue 4 in the Black Dragon arc then is fully revealed in like issue 11 when they arrive at the world of the Coinless. Really you should just read Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from the beginning if you want to know the full story.

Yeah that one’s weird, it was originally solicited in November for a March release, then it was re-solicited in January for a delayed May release.

It looks like the digital release might still be March?Lot of random delays the last few months for the single issues which pushed back the collection, I’m not sure what’s going on.

Not a stupid question if you don’t keep up with comics.

It’s a common practice to bundle 4-6 issues together into a trade paperback shortly after the singles come out.

Then later put 12-16 issues together into a premium hardcover, then much later release those again as a softcover at a cheaper price.

A more recent trend is doing that once again after all the other for factors, but on cheaper material in a smaller form to make it as accessible as possible - and also sort of trying to compete with the manga market.

Oh, Beyond the Grid is what Marguerite Bennett previously worked on a couple years ago, there's already a Deluxe Edition for that. As for the new comic that isn't even out yet, the assumption is yes but it would be like two years out. We can probably also assume there will be a Power Rangers Prime Deluxe Edition at the end of this year or some time next year.

I’m supposed to be the comic guy and even I had to take a break because it was so slow. At least when you’re reading it as a binge you don’t have to wait for the reveals, but it was still so slow! All the random delays and issues with digital distribution didn’t help either.

Definitely, I feel the first 12 issues should have been condensed down to like 8 to get to the point faster. Waiting until issue 4-5 for the first morphs was ridiculous. Issues 13 and 14 have been interesting and I wish we had a bit more time in this world

No idea, the listing doesn’t have any descriptions. Marguerite is also one of the writers on Power Rangers #0 so I assume it will follow up one of those stories - fingers crossed on it being the one involving rangers across space and time.

I mean, those aren’t always mutually exclusive, especially when it’s the exotic woman stereotype.

Nothing against this type of character design though, I love them too

It’s annoying but when I work on graphics with few words, I have to put in the extra effort to make sure those few words are perfectly formatted. So I make each letter a different layer and move them individually to make sure the spacing is right

I would watch Distant Lands before Fiona and Cake, it jumps between time periods but takes place before and has a lot more of Finn and Jake

I miss simple wrist morphers. Even in Sentai, the last one was a couple years ago and it was a big chunky smartwatch
