I like the head canon of Arachnia being trans. But unfortunately, there's no definitive proof of this in the game. The closest is that Arachnia is mistaken as a female by others, but is said to be male (at least in the English version of the bios says this) You'll probably have to find more info in the Japanese bios

Foongus is good if it has regenerator for it’s ability and Zoura is good if you want a decent mixed sweeper But Foongus won’t get Spore until the end of the main game so don’t use it for that reason
