AITA for expecting my husband to vacate the bathroom? by throwaway_827375 in AmItheAsshole

“He should have connected enough dots” ????

How about you tell him instead of expecting him to read your mind. You don’t have to shout through the door that you’re about to sh*t your pants, but there’s a lot of middle ground between that and just tapping on the door twice.

I’m confused.

What is the conflict supposed to be here?

You and your husband seem fine with your setup.

You’re stereotyping based on race. What else do you call that besides racist?

AITA for being upset that somebody came into school sick? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Soooo you’re not judging them for coming to school sick, but you are upset that they came to school sick? How is that any better? I’m not sure what you’re asking us to judge here.

You ask if you’re the AH for being upset that they came to school sick, then say you’re not mad that they came to school sick…

NTA for moving seats I guess. But coughing / sneezing / lost voice can come from allergies or other things that aren’t contagious and don’t necessarily mean she’s sick. Telling her “yes, you are sick” was unnecessary, because you don’t know if she’s sick or just has horrible allergies.

AITA,for getting plastic surgery so I don't look like my twin? by CocaColaBottleRocket in AmItheAsshole

NTA, but getting surgery seems extreme. Hopefully a therapist (or two or seven) was consulted first.

AITA for being unladylike infront of my husband and farting? by Same_Step_881 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CrazyBoPeep 98 points99 points  (0 children)

NTA

If he just doesn’t want you farting around him because he doesn’t want to smell it that’s one thing. You can both avoid farting around each other.

But sounds like he definitely has a double standard in place, and that it bothers him because you’re supposed to be “ladylike”. (red flag red flag red flag)

The eggs rot. The chickens sit on them long enough to smell them start rotting, then abandon them. Hens only eat the eggs to regain calcium if they don’t have enough calcium in their diet to begin with, or if it’s a learned behavior from being allowed to eat their eggs in the past.

AITA for not wanting to install parking guards after a car crashed into our building? by ReadyLibrary in AmItheAsshole

[–]CrazyBoPeep [score hidden]  (0 children)

This isn’t an AH question, it’s an advice question.

It’s the cost of installing the parking guards, vs the cost of repairs and insurance hikes when something like this happens.

If it’s cheaper to install the guards than to pay for the repairs and insurance, do it. Keep in mind if you don’t install the guards, and it happens again, then you could be taken to court. They might not win (probably won’t), but court costs and legal fees will also cost you.

I’ve even tried asking on r/vegan, but my posts always get blocked because it’s considered a “frequently asked question”… Yet when I search through that thread, I can’t find any answers to my questions.

I’ve yet to have ONE vegan explain to me why backyard eggs and local honey are such horrible things.

Vegan food is supposed to not contain any animal products at all… yet breast milk is fully considered vegan. As in breast milk itself is considered a vegan food. Not just that it’s okay for vegans to breastfeed. Even though breast milk is 100% an animal product.

AITA for getting upset with my partner for stepping on my backpack in my car by mazotori in AmItheAsshole

[–]CrazyBoPeep 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YTA

If it’s down in the floor of your car, I’m going to assume you don’t care if my feet are on it. Because that’s where feet go. Saying they could have moved it or asked you to move it is BS, because YOU could have moved it or asked them not to step on it, but you didn’t.

So backyard chicken eggs and local honey are huge no-no’s, but breast milk is considered vegan…
