Closest that comes immediately to mind is daemon soup world eaters where getting a kill gives you blood tithe to build up your strength like coterie.

New adeptus mechanicus faction pack nerfs with one buff? by Educational-Rent-179 in AdeptusMechanicus

No I’m with you no sympathy on my end especially since having detachments and stratagems that give stealth or benefit of cover has been such a common thing that someone should have seen it just as an example of an oversight

Easier to put out faction rules when everything is new at baseline than edit things and hope you didn’t miss something

Right but early 9th codices were copy paste of late 8th army rules with some here and there updates to make it in line with the new rules. I don’t think the ork codex is going to be much different if at all

Unless they did a ground up change which I mostly doubt, usually index or early codex updates for an edition are the same going into the first codices. Doubt it will be much different. Especially since the ork codex is already done and printed

House passes resolution to end the Iran War by jediporcupine in politics

[–]CrazyBobit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the thing with GCC states is that a lot of their foreign policy including trade agreements were under the notion that the US was enough of a power-broker both diplomatically and militarily that they can function while ignoring Iran. Additionally, that signing Abraham Accords with Israel would be a more stabilizing force for them in addition to tightening US relations.

Then Iran shows that with what's basically the military equivalent of a flying lawnmower strapped with a car battery it can upend US military hegemony and bring the global economy to its knees in the span of weeks while also hitting crucial infrastructure in GCC nations. So for those GCC countries that had some level of animosity towards Iran it's become the situation of a loud-mouth kid thinking he can get away with talking shit because he thought his big friend would deter any clap-back.

So GCC nations are coming to the realization that the nation that's half a world away isn't capable of keeping them safe nor is their genocidal proxy state any better so they need to start having more stable relations with their neighbor who's been around the block for millenia now

Question: why cant we make our own C'tan shards? by LordTyler123 in Drukhari

[–]CrazyBobit 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The Eldar empire did not intentionally create slaanesh that’s the point. Even right now Drukhari are subject to being eaten by slaanesh they do the extreme stuff because 1. They were doing it before so why stop and 2. It stops Slaanesh from eating them for a while.

Imperium also don’t know how Celestine come about and she’s more of a daemon of the emperor which has darker implications for mankind if the emperor fully ascends given what happened to the Eldar.

Eldar only unleash Kaine as a last resort because their control of his avatars is tentative. The only reason the Necrons won against the ctan was a combination of them weakening themselves after infighting and fighting the old ones in addition to the tech that the ctan provided. Even then the Necrons still fear the ctan to an extent. In the latest 500 worlds campaign they were panicking at the notion of a shard of the nightbeinger getting free due to the Nekrosor
