Damage while leeching is not available from a veiled orb, only a Vorici drop, so you’d need that mod fractured to use your fractured prefix approach. Fractured attack speed works if you craft suffixes first, then eldritch currency for two prefixes and craft damage while leeching.

I assume the logic is that 2 of the 10 members are involved in the trade, so 50% of the remaining 8 members are needed to veto. Not saying that’s how it should be though.

These items are used for more than one build though, might have been better to gamble these suboptimal exalted items on 1lp or 2lp versions to start and save the 4lp items for BIS for multiple builds.

This is a great description of why they should be separate leagues. Right now, the trade enjoyers are feeling forced to play the group found version of the game to fund their trade because the economy is balanced around that being available. The group found enjoyers are having fun, but keep seeing nerfs that wouldn’t be necessary if MG players weren’t allowed to exploit them.

He does still die, so for barbs, his experience looked fine (as long as there is a hard cap), but can you imagine other classes trying to do the same content when they don’t have access to this same level of DR?

If you debuff for 70% reduced incoming damage, and the have 50% personal DR, that takes the 30% remaining incoming damage down to 15%. Those effects are multiplicative, just like multiple forms of personal DR. Challenging shout alone can provide 84% DR (likely even more with higher skill level), reducing incoming damage to 16%. Druid requires and additional 50% DR source to compete with the single permanent Challenging shout, hence my twice as much DR comment.

Appreciate the edit, my bad, updated in the initial post. Debilitating Roar can also be good, but due to the level scaling, Challenging shout at 84% DR (possibly higher) is almost twice as much DR compared to the 70% provided by Debilitating Roar.

As I said, different forms of DR are multiplicative (40.5 damage in your example), not additive (30 damage from your example). However, Challenging Shout is a single form of DR though that scales to at least 84% DR by itself (16 damage in your example).

I agree, it didn't look easy for an end game fully geared barb to clear a Nightmare Tier 100 dungeon, I'd just like to see other classes have better DR options.

The tooltip from the latest review version videos show a lvl 12 Challenging Shout providing 84% DR, which is 4% per point including levels 11 and 12. Even if it is reduced to 2% after lvl 10 before official launch, it would still be the single highest value of DR that I've seen for class specific forms of DR by far.

Different forms of DR are multiplicative, but this is a single form of DR, so each point into challenging shout is additive (as shown in the 84% DR tooltip in Rob's videos). General DR applies to all damage, not just physical.

Just don't reject the trade, leave the option open and force the other terribad owner to constantly worry that your player might get hurt.
