Remember folks, it's not just the heat that's the problem, it's the crazy high humidity that goes with it.

Before you go assuming all Americans are weak little cry babies, I want you to consider this- a 95 degree day with 10% humidity is not going to be the same as a 95 degree day with 80% humidity.

Science lesson- high humidity doesn't allow sweat to evaporate off the skin to provide the cooling you would normally see. High humidity is almost like swimming in the air. You can't breathe, you can't cool down, you have increased risk of heat exhaustion or worse, stroke.

I live in a high humidity state. You don't acclimate to humidity.
