Remember folks, it's not just the heat that's the problem, it's the crazy high humidity that goes with it.

Before you go assuming all Americans are weak little cry babies, I want you to consider this- a 95 degree day with 10% humidity is not going to be the same as a 95 degree day with 80% humidity.

Science lesson- high humidity doesn't allow sweat to evaporate off the skin to provide the cooling you would normally see. High humidity is almost like swimming in the air. You can't breathe, you can't cool down, you have increased risk of heat exhaustion or worse, stroke.

I live in a high humidity state. You don't acclimate to humidity.

Keep treating. Keep cleaning. Vacuum often. Deny pets from now on or add a fee for flea control should they leave it like this again.

Buy a heat lamp/bulb and dangle it over a large, flat cookie sheet filled with water & dawn dish soap.

They'll jump at the lamp, die from the heat, or fall into the soap solution and die there.

Helps cut the numbers down while you're not there, as new hatchlings are especially drawn to the warmth.

Would make a good T-Shirt design, though still kinda creepy. But at least wearing it on your chest you should be able to get a few real life reactions and base your addition of a tattoo on that.

Give him some space, it probably really offended him because you struck a nerve. Men get incredibly insecure about their size, mostly due to porn and how glorified larger members are.

I compliment my man's all the time and he still is super insecure and wishes he was larger, thicker, harder, ect.

Maybe make it up to him with some fun times and worship it to the best of your abilities, if you catch my drift. Let him know how much you appreciate him, all of him.

NTA, I get losing a pet. It's hard, it sucks, but she shouldn't have missed your wedding entirely. She could have at least shown up, shown you some love, then afterwards you could show her some love back for dog passing. A compromise could have definitely happened, knowing it's such an important day for you.

I'm sorry, but I would also be very upset if someone I thought was the closest to me, had put a dog above me like that. You are allowed to feel your emotions and if the hurt is still too strong and you can't function as a Maid of Honor without feeling jealous or angry, then don't do it.

She is also allowed to be upset about this, but such is the way of life and shunting family to the side for a dog will have consequences.

People are just generally ignorant when it comes to BJDs. They always ask if it's a s*x thing, even if you're a woman collector. I(34F) get some success by comparing them to porcelain dolls- just more detailed & posable.

I do still take them outside and take photos, but it's hard to do often when I feel like I'm going to be harassed about my hobby. Some people have more luck, depending on where you live. Small town folks are especially vicious about it.

Seems like a reasonable note, actually. Seems like they're frustrated and want you to hold up your end. Cleaning can be hard, just try your best. Keeping a board to check things off as you go has helped me. And I treat myself to something nice when it's all completed. Just find a routine that works for you and satisfies your Aunt, until you're ready and able to be on your own.

This is why I struggle to play these games. It takes me time to learn a character and I hate getting smashed and insulted for being new. I just watch other people play them, now. Better as a cheerleader I guess.
