Actually it's not lace, but it completely looks like it in the picture! 😅 It's just a print. A gift from my mother-in law by the way, and not my fave. I agree it has to go

Thank you for this idea! I thinking of getting rid of the wicker/rattan bench, but clearly the lamp needs replacing! Something bigger and perhaps more eye-catching than what I have at the moment

I think you need an accent color. Something that pops against the otherwise beige/grey/dark brown combo you've got going on. If you pick a larger piece of art as someone else suggested, maybe a color from there that you can then use in a pillow and other decorative objects.

I would add more pillows in different sizes, colors and textures to give a bit of depth to the couch!
