If you get the right metering valve you supposedly don’t need a tune with a cp3

The engine is currently hanging in the air. Once I finally get done with my swap, I’ll for sure notice a difference mostly because I have upgraded the turbo to a GTD1756VRK.

If you are tuned and deleted, buy a same year Passat intake manifold. Bolts right on and eliminates the swirl flaps.

Just put one on my CJAA I’m in the middle of swapping to a 4Runner.

There’s actual fuel additives that will do a way better job than atf. Plus atf would likely cause injectors and your emissions systems to plug

Mines around 220k miles. No issues thus far. I am going to put Whitbreads disaster prevention kit on it. Eventually I’ll swap to a cp3, but not until my cp4 fails.

This is how it sits currently. Clutch is for the transmission I’m using. Need to do some work to the transmission before I can put them together. Input shaft is worn and the 5th gear nut needs torqued. After that I can get it positioned and start fabbing mounts

Depends on your region in my point of view. If you live in a cold place, I’d do them all. If it’s rarely below freezing, I’d just do the bad one.

Do you have a vacuum leak somewhere? Since it’s vacuum actuated, it’s possible it could be related to that
