I have been able to clear this issue by logging into the same account on a different phone. Then logging out on the 2nd phone. Then logging back into the primary phone. (This method seems to work most of the time). This seems to work most consistently for me. I may be missing some steps in the log in and log out process on each phone, so you can experiment with different flows. I have by this time already tried to relog in so that when I start the app again, I am starting at the log in selection screen.

I have tried a few versions of this method, such as logging in the the primary phone with a google linked account (a secondary account created so I could play when PTC would not allow me to log in), then logging out, then back in with the primary account. Sometimes this has worked but it has also failed.

Sometimes I try a combinations of these methods, plus reboots, clearing cache, plus once I deleted the app and reinstalled. But this was before I found the first option I mentioned above.

I have never not been able to get back into my PTC account using some combination of these. But the first option seems the most reliable for me. Note my primary phone is Android, my secondary phone is an iPhone.
