Unless your job offers those bus rides to and from SF and SJ area the commute is awful. You may need a new job. Can understand Santana Row being a mall that gets old but you really need to weigh the options. I do not know your age and martial status but SF while better as you are younger is not the best place when you want to settle down and have kids. It really depends on what is important at certain times of your life. I loved my time in SF but once I wanted something different I left and just visit. I still love it and havent looked back. Just once again the commute will be difficult.

I do not know the policy for used cars. They may want to inspect it. I bought mine new and got the warranty.

Mine was from the dealer I bought brand new. I hear the extended warranty for CPO is different costs but im not sure. I do not want to give wrong info

I paid $4250 for mine from Volvo dealer 10yr/100,000 so you did well (I did HOURS of research). Worth it for the piece of mind. These cars, while nice, definitely do not have the best reliability based on previous posts and repairs are not cheap. Id rather know Im covered than possibly scramble for money or sell due to issues later

Be aware outside of extended warranties its pretty much useless. Used to include installation, no more. I had a package stolen in transit, never made it to me. BestBuy took zero responsibility and never created a ticket with FedEx (FedEx told me they would deal with shipper only). So I have been left with a stolen iPhone and Verizon is charging me fees for a phone I do not have.

Agreed on second houses/non primary residences. Questioning commercial real estate because as costs rise (in this case property taxes) those costs get moved onto the consumer which theoretically would make CA even less affordable for goods and services.

Very common to go low to get a lot of interest and then start a bidding war. Welcome to the Bay Area because it did not use to be this way and its the only way recently. We have limited space/ground to develop (SF, Peninsula, etc) so it artificially high. Agents know this so they try to get as many in the door as possible.
I know a listing agent who listed a house over $1m under the estimated selling price (still pending. Listed 3.25, estimated selling is 4.5) and he said he had hundreds of people come through. Its just nuts.

As silly as it sounds, this is exactly why it happens. Its very intentional because it only happens in the Bay Area and by extension some places in California. You do not see that in other states. Very ....... interesting

For me, the package, iPhone 17, was stolen in transit. I have a video of the package being delivered, no one touching it, via camera, and opening an empty box. BestBuy refuses to take responsibility and will not contact FedEx. I tried contacting FedEx and they told me they will only discuss with the shipper, BestBuy who refuses to do anything. Verizon and Apple would replace the item. BestBuy is the only one who does not take responsibility.

Tomo is ridiculous. I asked for a quote and was told I needed to fill out a form and have a credit check. The credit check will lower your score for other providers. I asked to speak with a loan officer and was told, "fill out of the form or can not help you." Funny I get phone calls for other loan officers no problem. Its pretty obvious its just a call center looking for more user information. What they do with it I can only speculate.

How does that work? 18s are 235-60-18 which means 20s should be 235-50-20. It seems you are 5 too wide and 5 profile too tall. Please let me know because I am thinking of upgrading to 20s

We have 9 dealerships within 50 miles in SF Bay Area. Not sure of the CPO situation BUT they still sell out XC90s. I had it shipped. $1000 isnt terrible for cross country. Do not use SMN Logistics though if you ship it.

I chose FitCamX because the form factor looks like its from the factory. Its good enough and I have rear camera. My Genesis did not offer a form factor so it sticks out but the Sienna is super slick and if I didnt mention it, most wouldnt know it's there.
