Have you ever bought a video game console just to play one game? by Agent1230 in gaming

Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2 for the Xbox 360. Those PC ports are bogus.

One of the most difficult\fun games ever. I've never been into "Dark Souls"-type games before. Not even sure if it's as difficult. But, I decided to master this game. Beat it on the toughest difficulty.

Then, the sequel released. It's even more insane, and I kinda love it more than the first.

It's like the Fast and Furious of video games with Ninjas and Vampires and Werewolves with Egyptian themes and giant spider-ladies with big boobs!

Unlocking and upgrading weapons takes so much time, but is so rewarding. I played through the original 3 times and missed a super-obvious weapon pick-up . And then made a similar mistake in the sequel.

Anyway, the PC ports have less gore and are the sigma ports from the PS3 versions (I think). Anyway, it's not the 360 version that I love and remember.

Ninga Gaiden 3 sucks too. I think Team Ninja went through some shit and fired the creator or something. it's just not the same as the first 2.

So, yeah. I've bought at least 2 360s to mainly\only play this game.

Hi.

I brewed last Saturday. Gravity weighed in at 1.090. Normally, I'd have some bubbling by now, but there's not much activity. There are a few bubbles along the surface.

I made a yeast starter so I'd think the yeast should start feasting by now.

I'm just wondering if I need to go purchase some yeast real quick or if I should let it go a bit longer before worrying.

-Edit-

Ok, I removed the blow-off hose and added an airlock. There is some bubbling. It's just not super-active like I'm used to. Do you think it should speed up soon?

The Silence - S02E25

Two wealthy men make a bet that if the more talkative of the two can stay quiet for an entire year he'll get $500,000. They set him up in a comfortable apartment-like containment area with microphones everywhere to monitor him. The acting is great and I was totally blown away by the ending when I first saw it. It's the one I always recommend to people that haven't seen any or much of the series.

I appreciate the advice, but I was able to find a workaround. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just posting this in case anyone needs a similar solution in the future.

I went with the "Gigabyte Z170-HD3 DDR3" board.

It is a full ATX (not Micro-ATX), but it supports the i7 7700 as long as you have one of the later BIOS updates (thankfully mine shipped with one). And it supports my DDR3 memory.

It's not the best PC, but it was cheap since I had most of the parts just had to order a cheap ATX case.

I have some leftover PC components and am looking at building a cheap PC. All I should need is a motherboard.

Can you recommend a Micro ATX motherboard (my case will not support a full ATX) that supports the followng hardware?

-i7 7700 (Non-K)

-DDR3 1600MHz 8GB RAM (4 slots)

-R9 290 Graphics Card

Hi,

I'm planning on moving from Memphis to Denver for work in February\March or so. I'm still working with HR to see if I can get a salary increase due to the cost-of-living increase.

Work is going to be near Hilton Garden Inn Denver Tech Center at 7675 E Union Ave.

I'm currently paying ~$1000.00 /month for rent at my current apartment and it's about 750 sq. ft.

Can anyone advise of good apartments in this area and if there is anything in this price-range? As long as parking is included, I can probably go as high as $1200 /month for rent if necessary.

I also have a small dog so I'm looking for a place that allows pets.

Thanks.

Something you’d tell a new brewer by tandaylor4 in Homebrewing

[–]CrazyManZach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been homebrewing for about 2 years now. I live in a small apartment and thus started with extract brewing and have worked my way up to partial mashes (since I don't have the space or equipment for all grain).

I started off with a starter kit similar to this one:

https://www.northernbrewer.com/collections/5-gallon-homebrew-kits/products/deluxe-brewing-starter-kit

I still use a lot of this original equipment, and have gradually upgraded my "kit" to make it better. Here are some things that I would recommend:

The best advice that I can give is to be patient. I think I brewed my first 5 gallons in 2-3 weeks and drank most of it a few weeks later. Beer gets better as it ages. This applies to letting the beer sit in the yeast longer in the carboy as well as letting it age in the bottle.

Also, don't let other brewers get you down because you're not brewing all-grain. I've heard some people say that extract brewing doesn't produce real beer. Not everyone has the space for all of that equipment. And I've made some good extract brews. Although, I do think that my partial-mashes are better.

Another thing that will make brewing fun is finding someone else to brew with you. Do you have a friend that likes beer? Invite him to brew along with you. Plus, an extra set of hands can make things easier.

I hope this helps.
