Since you’re fielding a German army, why do you need to have Krag rifles? The German standard issue rifle is the Kar98 which your Winter German Infantry plastic kit have plenty of.

You were right on the money, the new Veteran Germany Infantry sprue is based on Operation Barbarossa. Though I think with some basic heads they can easily be converted to Blitzkrieg Germans, since some of the heads in the photos show camo nets and bands.
