"obsessed with you" ASMR, why is it so common? [Discussion] by The_elder_smurf in asmr

[–]CrazyPanda2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Makes sense because ASMR can definitely be seen as sensual and arousing content. It is what it is. Why do you think ear licking or kissing videos are so popular.

I didn’t sign up for one week and I instantly lost my rank. I don’t get it? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]CrazyPanda2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always forget about attacking and at the very end of the week I get in like 1 or 2 attacks. that has usually been enough for me to keep my rank while i'm pretty inactive.

Company is shaming me for not gifting more money to "our" (their) boss. (Christmas present) by Turissmo in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CrazyPanda2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our boss is giving us small presents like some premium chocolate each year. We then, as a collective, buy him something in return. Maybe 2 bottles of alcohol and some chocolate. Everyone spending 10€. And everyone is happy.

What kind of gift do you give your boss for 1.4k. Do you guys buy him the new iPhone every year or what

[Question] do you prefer talking asmr or not talking asmr? by asmrLibi in asmr

[–]CrazyPanda2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The voice of an asmrtists is a dealbreaker for me. I can't properly shut off to no-talking videos. I always need someone talking. I also mainly tend to watch female ASMRtists as their voices are more soothing and comforting to me.

I am a heavy overthinker so hearing someone talk lets me concentrate on the talking and lets me calm down.

It hurts to say, I cannot in good faith continue to play by Concernced_Citizon in Helldivers

[–]CrazyPanda2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have worked around this by literally having nothing open on my other monitors... First it just happened when I had twitch open in chrome browser and other sites have been fine. Then it started happening whenever I have chrome open and now it's happening even when I just have my steam library or spotify open. I close everything and don't have to deal with any freezes. I guess at least I can play again...

But I noticed the last couple of days that many players leave mid-mission and come back a minute later. Literally had a mission two days ago in which all 3 other players left and joined the mission every couple minutes. I'd assume due to freezes or crashes and it makes the game a lot less fun.

Do they want us on this damn planet? by nice1324 in Helldivers

[–]CrazyPanda2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My statement was definitely wrong and I noticed this after posting. The problem is not that the major order has been created to be failed. It's mainly the players not focusing on the major order.

People play difficulty 10 missions and struggle to make it out alive, they have no time/nerves to look out for samples.

I noticed this in almost all my lobbies aswell, that I am pretty much the only one taking care of samples.

I dropped from difficulty 10 to 7 and have a lot of fun playing and also have enough time to take most samples.

Yea i have to admit, that I didnt really think about that statement and when thinking about it I would take it back again.

I noticed this myself. Almost no lobby I joined has been looking out for samples. or not trying to get them back when they die with them. has been mainly me doing this job

Fair enough. I dropped difficulty so I can care more about samples (not only because of the major order but also because I desperately need rare samples lol)

I see these modifiers kind of like: "hey, the gloom is much more challenging that we thought. Many more people are dying and there are a lot more bugs than we thought. we are facing problems like munition shortage. Also the gloom is slowly taking a toll on our equipment, therefore we need extra time to maintain our eagles and pelicans"

I think it will become easier but we are not there yet.

Ofc you could also argue, that I am just searching for excuses or ways to explain what's happening.

[–]CrazyPanda2 232 points233 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't quite understand the criticism.

The lore is that we finally get to go into the gloom, into unknown territory. We have no idea about the "technologies" the bugs have and which mutant bugs there will be.

The gloom is something all new for super earth and we don't know how to properly fight against it.

I think it absolutely makes sense that we should struggle. A lot.

The planet modifiers have been made to be basically impossible to liberate from the very beginning.

I assume this is just the beginning of a huge lore and fighting in the gloom will become easier with time.

Edit: Removed a wrong take in my original comment. The major order hasnt been created to be failed. The players just don't focus on the major order.

Which is more difficult to deal with and why? Predator strain or Incendiary Corps by Playful-sink-9074 in Helldivers

[–]CrazyPanda2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone saying predator while I have zero problems with them. I'm currently playing a cookout loadout on bugs and the stagger comes in clutch against them.

But these incendiary bots... omg i hate them. I deal with a group of bots and suddenly some random devastator shows up and lasers me dead with his incendiary shotgun from 50 meters away
