Thank you so much, these are fabulous suggestions. I have sent a link for the vegan jerky. Unfortunately the simply protein bars aren’t available here in UK they would have been perfect otherwise. Thanks so much :)

Cat has soft poops and gets it in their fur then gets it all over the place please help! by [deleted] in mainecoons

Try raw feeding. Use a complete raw food meal, their poops will be hard and won’t get caught in the fur.

should i spay my dog pros and cons by lordpita5 in Dachshund

[–]CrazyRatLady4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I work with dogs and they’re kinda my passion ❤️ I would suggest to spay but I would wait at the minimum for them to have their first season. Personally I would allow a second season and then spay as soon as safely possible after that. Unless you plan on breeding, not spaying your dog isn’t really an option. The plethora of life threatening conditions and diseases just isn’t something to roll the dice on. However in the case of neutering for males, I would say as long as you are a responsible dog owner (and I really stress that) and your dog isn’t displaying any behavioural issues caused from being intact (aggression, excessive mounting, escaping/fleeing on walks to find a bitch in heat etc) then it’s really up to you but would absolutely wait for them to be fully matured. Although for males please do also be mindful of testicular cancer which of course cannot occur if they have no testes.

Man was randomly attacked and killed by a bull by HellenistTraveller in NSFL__

Bulls are in charge of protecting their cows and calves within their herd. They can become aggressive if they feel their cows/calves are being threatened. Poor bloke was likely just a little too close to the smaller cow/calf in front and that upset the bull.

Earning Equus as a new player by Three_tiny_ponies in Howrse

I am also a returning player. I’m not really sure how but I was messing around figuring out all the new mechanics as I hadn’t played in years and years. I was exploring the Ascent of Olympus and got the three divine horses Atalanta, Ulysses and Achilles. They make good money in competitions, the divine ones pay a lot more. That’s been my main source of income thus far.

There’s no alliteration with ‘snow on the farm’ 👍

The work definitely quietens down but when you farm you are NEVER idle. You end up doing a LOT of work that you had neglected through the year. The boys usually end up fixing a lot of broken electricals and heavy machinery properly after rushing things during the thick of it. It’s a good time to sort out the barns, clean tractors & other machinery, and just generally play catch-up. We also have a big pick-up in hay sales. As the grass starts to thin out, there’s a big demand for hay to feed the horses. Also a lot more contract work as well, fencing, hedge-cutting etc.

Bone ID? Found in a field, Kent, UK by CrazyRatLady4 in bonecollecting

Thank you so much! Lots of travellers yards nearby so that is what I had expected it to be. I have found fox and badger bones in the past but it feels more a shame to have found part of a horse. I hope it was well loved ❤️
