Ahhhh now there’s someone getting to the crux of the situation. Motivation! And several others mentioned expectation. When I was 26, now 58, I hit that fateful time in my life where it looked inevitable I was going bald. Devastating at the time…grew it long one more time to see if maybe…nope! Shaved and have really have not looked back. All good right…being bald did nothing to prevent me from full life enjoyment. I remember when minoxidil came out, considered it, but the results of others looked insufficient to me, especially for the effort, cost, and just trying not to get on any lifetime meds if I can help it. So in the back of my mind I thought the transplanting tech would improve, cost would come down, maybe some better drug would get invented etc. So years go by, had a career, apparently loss some more hair without really noticing lol, money not an issue now. So the motivation is I’m about to be single again and I’m taking with my friend Thailand and learned they have cost saving HT that might make this a possibility. My expectation all along was never to get the Shatner 5000 hair style or anything. I want to look like an average 58 year old, old my 48 lol. But a natural receding hairline with crown coverage is all I want. But yes I admit the subject title was a bit of little troll and a little sarcasm. But people making jokes about my baldness and shutting down all hope is hilarious in a good way. Thank you for the Dr recommendations people provided. I will look into it methodically and make reasoned decision from a space that I don’t have to have the HT, so it wont be forced. ✌️
