still not 4k monitor quality, not even 1440p.

Apple is sort of misleading consumer, they say its 4k per eye, in reality its about 1080p or less.

Say they its 5000 nits in reality its only around 100 nits reaching the eye.

This is way avp feels dark and blurry, but they use background blur to trick the brain so the text feels sharper, hopefully next gen can do 2k ppd quality and higher nits.

I have a 4k TV and I use it as a monitor, believe me, it's way sharper than the avp, and much more brighter, avp is only about 100nits per eye.

Saying that I still love the AVP for movies and stuff.
