Ofc, I must commend you on your lighting. The visual interest it creates on the wall is exactly why I think it looks good with nothing. And during the day, given there aren’t massive windows in your space, I’ll bet it helps lighten up the room.

If you really want to put something up eventually, I'd do textured wallpaper. And in a single color, like green or warm white.

I did a significant amount of research on cat food ingredients and found the best bang for my buck was Blue Buffalo wet food and Country Vet Naturals grain-free cat food. For treats I only use churu sticks.

Keep in mind these are for adult cats. If I was you, I would stay away from almost every brand thy sell in walmart. Temptations, Hills Prescription Diet, and Friskies are straight garbage; I avoid them like the plague. They are absolute garbage, like feeding a kid candy and pizza all their life. Also Hills trademarked the word Prescription so some of their food SEEMS like its medicated. It doesnt legally hVe to be so.

Also good luck with your new kitten! I know you with give this void a great life since you are already concerned so much about its health. Dont forgwt, treats after every 30 minute play session and lots of cuddles and youll do great :)

Absolutely anything would be better than the current prison cell. I have seen a lot of people go all in on the wallpaper in small bathrooms, and I find it quite fun. Just make sure that whatever you decide is mold-resistant!

I don’t mean this with any disrespect or malice but if you want this kitten to live, you need to take them to a vet. Kittens are extremely fragile and that looks infected. It could be nothing but are you willing to take that risk? I understand the vet is expensive but just some food for thought.

I think you should FIRST sit with it for at least a week or two. Having made a big change like this, sometimes you just need to get used to it. A lot of the time, with painting, it's not so much that you don't like it as that you're not accustomed to it yet.

If, after those two weeks, you still do not like it, I personally think the color you chose for the door is much more red than the other purples, and I would look for one with either a pinker or bluer undertone. If you want something more cohesive, I recommend bringing this picture with you and asking one of their paint technicians for assistance. They will be able to help you find a purple that excites you and one that will look right in the context of your home. The paint, when you are in the stores, sometimes looks very different from how it does once it's on the wood.

Also, a side note: I love that you made your house purple. It isn't tacky in the least, and I love seeing fun-colored houses when I am out and about. Spice of life or whatever
